SOME SAID KORAN 3:55 SAID THOSE THAT BELIEF IN JESUS WILL RECEIVE GREATER REWARD. IS IT TRULY WHAT THE VERSE SAID? IF YES, THEN WHY INSIST THAT CHRISTIANS MUST CONVERT WHEN THEY HAVE GREATER REWARDS? AND WHY TERRORISM

The Quran also say's that a Muslim is not a Muslim unless he believes that Jesus was a Prophet and he was the son of Mary.  Terrorism and Muslims have become synonymous due to certain agendas, but in reality Islam/Muslims (those that truly follow the teaching of the Quran) are at opposite ends.  It is like the bombing in Ireland recently by a Christian group are you going to say that all Christians are terrorists.  Or how about  Hitler are you going to say that all Germans are monsters.  My friend blaming others is easy, what you have done is started the journey so please try to read up on Islam and Muslims and you will come to realize that no true Muslim will ever force Islam on a non-Muslim,as it would go against the teachings of the Quran.

Please visit my hub and download yourself a free Quran with English transliteration and read it yourself don't take other peoples distorted views and do injustice to Muslims.

All the best - please don't take my response as me trying to convert or preach just mere response to your question.

I think it is appropriate if one sees the verse with the verses in the context, some verses preceding and some verses following, to know what Quran actually says and means:

[3:52] ‘Surely, Allah is my Lord and your Lord; so worship Him: this is the right path.’ ”
[3:53] And when Jesus perceived their disbelief, he said, ‘Who will be my helpers in the cause of Allah?’ The disciples answered, ‘We are the helpers of Allah. We have believed in Allah. And bear thou witness that we are obedient.
[3:54] ‘Our Lord, we believe in that which Thou hast sent down and we follow this Messenger. So write us down among those who bear witness.’
[3:55] And they planned, and Allah also planned; and Allah is the Best of planners.
[3:56] When Allah said, ‘O Jesus, I will cause thee to die a natural death and will exalt thee to Myself, and will clear thee from the charges of those who disbelieve, and will place those who follow thee above those who disbelieve, until the Day of Resurrection; then to Me shall be your return, and I will judge between you concerning that wherein you differ.
[3:57] ‘Then as for those who disbelieve, I will punish them with a severe punishment in this world and in the next, and they shall have no helpers.
[3:58] ‘And as for those who believe and do good works, He will pay them their full rewards. And Allah loves not the wrongdoers.’
[3:59] That is what We recite unto thee of the Signs and the wise Reminder.
[3:60] Surely, the case of Jesus with Allah is like the case of Adam. He created him out of dust, then He said to him, ‘Be!,’ and he was.
[3:61] This is the truth from thy Lord, so be thou not of those who doubt.

The standard religious threat common to the bible and quoran of course! smile

If one removes all the death threats from the Bible and the Koran, they would only be a couple pages long.

I know that some Muslim are good. That is not all muslims are terrorist. I trust I wrote something on that but the main point is "why do muslims want Christians to convert if those that believe in Jesus will get the greatest reward" I like the verses that was pasted here because the person that told me about it did not say it exactly as it was meant. Here disbelieve means those that do not believe in Jesus and maybe not those that Worship Jesus. I trust muslims believe in Jesus but they see him differently.

So Christians have joined the bombing party? It is getting out of hand. What is their demand? Since koran accept Jesus and his teachings, why can't Muslims and Christians live in peace or do they want everybody to use only the bible or only the koran before they respect each other. Who are those that disbelieve? and since the charge is no longer in the prophets as they did their work why force people to convert?that is people are willing to pay the price for disbelieve.do part of koran preach violence?

I think it is wrong to kill anyone for religious reasons or even force anyone to join any religion. Religion should be a personal issue.
