If you did- can you describe how he looked like? Or is he formless?
Here's the thing about 'seeing' God, IMO. God takes whatever shape is suitable to the individual at any given time and is always manifested by the believer. No belief, no God. Search, meditate, need, ask, believe, find, experience God. (No reference to the Christian God or any other religion's God).
Then that God is very subjective, and even chameleon. But then once I find him in my own way, still then, It must have its original shape somewhere. It only came to me to compensate my human intellect and senses. What is he in reality?
Am I asking too much..
funny you ask that question. I have a few faces of GOD in one of my latest hubs on my Faces of GOD series. i have not only seen GOD I have also seen the second GOD or perhaps the second face of GOD, the faces of the infant son and daughter of GOD and other faces of GOD as well. your very welcome to drop by and enjoy. happy new years gconeyhiden
I welcome your subjective Gods, just as well I welcome my cat God, or Cow God.
Is it that Life is God? People don't always say that; do they?
Very good answers have already been given!
TIS kinda like asking ... has anyone seen color ... if so? please describe it.
The thing is that they are not even sure that they did see the color, and yet making claims. If you have seen, then why aren't you brave enough to say that you did see God, and that It is formlessly Divine or whatever.
-chicanery is not good. That has drowned many people. This question can be answered with Yes or No. Did you speak that?
God says that He created man in His image, therefore if you look into a mirror or a pool of clear water you will see God looking back at you.
you say he . most torch bearers do . as if they have. i see god in your question . you put it there then ask if i can see it?
god is three letter word. it has form . and meaning. so i ask you have you seen god?
Sorry if 'he' bothered you. I understand God is It. We hear all the time that God is masculine. That's my question- Has anyone ever seen God to make such claims?
Twelve inches. LOL . does that help at all. Gods packing if you get my meaning. LOL. i couldn't help it you set that line up perfectly.
im just jesting here .Me i hope in god ,SPERO IN DIO. I dont insist in one. I see god all the time people throw the word around like monkeys in a sht fight at the zoo.
I looked in the mirror this morning.
Actually, this is not a joke, but a valid expression of certain spiritual paths.
Yes. But they also say we are God's manifestations. Is God still elsewhere? Or are we the only God?
i think WE are guards or at least we should be thinking that. we should be guarding the earth like the jewel it is and not go about trashing it. if we are GODS then the word has no meaning at all. i dont know maybe your a goddess whos to say but im no GOD and I have saved many lives. I do know this.... the world is a sacred place. not thinking it such just leads to manmade disaster. I do think man is able to create a "divine order" of great beauty like in great works of art but sadly these are limited in scope and even the great religions fail the test of time. in some places buddha serves as a good luck charm and is losing out to fast cars. The church..well lets not go there. not if you have kids.
:God:
Love and a high energy source of good intention We are all God
Great! relaxed......................
Lets now stop fighting about God, How about it my good fellows, out there
Amazing. I think to God all the time, speak to him in thought. When you think, you pray, according to instruction. God is closer than some people think he is. Denying the presence is like denying my toe. I see God in your face and in mine. His light shines from out of our eyes, and his spirit moves in and out. That is called "living". Once I stop doing that, that spirit returns to the source. It doesn't hang around, and contains all that is the real me or the real you, leaving an empty shell, which eventually falls to dust. That spirit is energy. My energy, your energy. All energy returns to the source. All energy moves from one form to another. Pure science...nothing supernatural or magical about it.
i have not seen god but i have experinced angels i know that their like my grandmother is near me all the time like she is my gaurdian angel. She guides me too do the right thing, i do pray to god.
i said yes in my first post . i have seen god . it looks like this. GOD . as for my god . im still building it. its not for sale tho . its all mine. get your own god i say . mines taken
As well God should be an individual idea...
my idea of god is ok with your idea of god . its cool like that .
Yes I have seen God! I see him every time I look outside at the wonders of nature, when I teach my classes and an Autistic child looks me in the eye, when I see my sleeping children, when I receive Holy Communion at the Altar Rail every Sunday and when I see miracles happen. If you Look with your heart and your Faith you can see God everywhere.
Thanks Lindy's World. I appreciate this post.
A simple question to you all fellows | Have you seen God?
Naked eyse cannot see Him.
The viewance of God's entity is impossible. The reason why is this, God is unchanging so whatever He is He has always been and He will not change. Now when He created all things the things He created consisted only of things that were new, that were created. This means that what He is was before creation. Therefore we cannot know Him fully. The reason for this is that humans think on addative and subtractive value of all things. Meaning all we know is what we observe. We cannot observe what God is because what He is, is beyond what we can know, which is what was created after God. So we cannot know Him fully or comprehend Me.
Really? Then, one should be able to make claims about God.
So much for your first points.
I think if there is a god, it also has another name . .Fate. I have certainly seen fate.
God, or Gawd - for you southerners, tends to evolve whenever there are advancements in science. 2000 years ago God walked among humans just like how th other 2400 Middle Easter gods did ad had human traits. As science grew during the Renesaunce, God grew further away as theologians ran out of excuses. Now he's a know-all see-all supernatural force playing Sim City with believer's lives. But the only thing that didn't change over the years is God i just a belief,

“Who Are You?” Often we heard people asked. They want you to tell them who you really are. This is really simple question, is it? Or is it not?Have you ever noticed how people can come up with different answer for that simple question? And sometimes they also come up with more than one answers.“I...

Some things must have changed since I last created a hub (2009!) but I am having trouble posting a simple link within my hubs. What I'm doing is highlighting the text, then selecting the 'link' icon in the edit box, and entering the URL. However, I'm not understanding the process from...
