This was sent to me via email this morning and I just had to share it.
Hope you're enjoy in the spirit of levity and universal tolerance .
If religion is something that must be chosen, I want nothing to do with it.
Hey Mighty Mom,
The only "religion" that is worthy of choice is Life.
Your right, I don't understand life and I don't want to.I want to be part of it, not the illusion of it.
We see the world as we see it, in the moment. Now, that is true life and true mind.
Like I said before, having a conversation with you is meaningless and unproductive.
Exactly. It works that way for all of us in these matters. That's why it's a solitary path.
I must be able to accept that, my thoughts will not move everybody. Such is life. Now is all that is important, my beliefs cannot change the unnchangeable. Now is absolute.
Why would you seek to have your beliefs change anything other than you? They are beliefs, not facts. Attempting to influence and mold the beliefs of others is ego.
I don't care how I feel. The things that I ask or the statements I make, are to just show others that it does not matter. Why argue at all if the outcome will always be the same? Can we not have discussions in peace? Why to any of it? I talk to you because I care and I dig it. Does it matter to you really or are you just wanting an answer?
You might be wound a little too tight today. It was a simple question and an observation. I'm afraid that if you are not at peace it's a problem unique to you. I wasn't attempting to create strife. You do realize ego drives the illusion of conflict also?
And we all have ego, it is a matter of putting it aside. If one can see through all of the illusions ego presents, then all things cease to be in control.
Absolutely, but the concept doesn't have to be. The thing is, we can't make our minds be still, so we concoct all sorts of ways to escape it and the sheer reality of it can be terrifying.
The point was to move another's heart, not to bring their mind over to my side. I could honestly care less if they follow me or not. I just think that one should leave the gleeming tower of the mind behind for a minute and accept that the world is not what it seems. Especially with the blinders of the in crowd, so to speak.
Your choice of words continues to throw me off. Spiritually, who are any of us to lead? I'm always leery of any who would contemplate the possibility. That is creating a crowd of your own. Everyone should feel empowered to follow their own musings. Connecting on a spiritual level is not a group activity.
I was talking about connecting on a human level or even a universal level. If one is to look at the stark reality of it, we are all pretty much in the same situation.
Pet Peeve Alert:
"I could honestly care less if they follow me or not"
I'm turning you into the grammar police and sentencing you to Shadesbreath's remedial school for writing. Unless of course you truly meant that you do care and there is room for caring less (honestly speaking of course).
Do you want to discuss the criteria of the truthful religion?
The one true religion was not included, therefore your chart is useles.
Very humorous, without a doubt.
Personally, I feel your Path will chose you, over time.

I am secretly disappointed devil worship was not included in this chart.
Stclairjack -- that is hilarious. I would like to see that one if you get your hands on it.
Vive la difference.
(But my God is the best God).
Where is Her Holiness The Invisible Pink Unicorn?
Do you like Pink? Do you like Pineapple and Ham? Would you rather not be tramped into meat and then sent to crawl on your belly in the Mines of Misery?
Then choose Her Pinkness. But choose now. She doesn't take deathbed conversions.
BE A GENERIC BORING CHRISTIAN.
No am not? Hahaha! Thank you Mighty Mom for sharing this flow chart.
I can't go wrong with my ultimate love, The Woman
The source of life by the staff of life
I love hummus and bacon. My black cat prefers the bacon.
I have stolen and shared this, just to let you know.
But I am the least boring and generic Christian possible. Please bear in mind that we are not all obnoxious Tea Party Christians! Dang. I'm waiting for a pogrom to start up.

After reading through the religion forum, I see a lot of different views, but I also see some that are very much the same. What I am curious about is this ... are we all mostly different, or are we preaching the same message from different mouths?Only one way to find out ...I just want to know the...

~ Why do you need to follow any religion? ~I am just curious as to why people need to, or choose wanting to believe in, follow, and participate in any religious affiliation? What drive people to believe in their religions? Is it simply because of tradition, upbringing, or an actual spiritual...

On Facebook I know of at least two profiles where the people running them have offended some Pagans by comments they have made from a Christian viewpoint and links they have posted. I have seen this sort of problem before. So my question is: can Christians and Pagans be friends or do the belief...

It is quite understandable for the rationals to pity the believers for their purported ignorance and obstinate adherence to their religious beliefs. They think they know the truth which may well be the case. What I do not understand is the way they put down the believers as though they were some...
