The religious always says they want to share their religion with everybody else, to share their happiness.
So why is that the people who want to share their religious views with you never wanted to share yours with them?

Because they are not open to suggestions, they know that their religion is the true religion and nothing can change theirmind

Oh, you can share it. NP.

Thing is, many believers have "been there done that", so they hear nothing new.

Judging by the posts of the non-religious, all they are sharing is ridicule etc. not their true beliefs.

As far as I'm concerned, please do share. It doesn't threaten me one little bit.

@jomine....most religions sell unseen , unproven incentive... like eternal life etc...these concepts have nothing new to offer to humanity and are there much before muhammad or jesus where born... religon has its way of selling...in their sales pitch they offer super hero who is only way etc etc...and since there are 400 only ways , definitely one only way would feel threaten by other only way...competition ...

Its really hard to say what makes the God of the bible so real. Is it the salvation experience? Is it the baptism in the HG? Is it the change of ones life? Is it "ears to hear and eyes to see"? like Jesus said. Is it the peace on the inside that no matter how much the world throws at you, it bounces off because God is in control? Is it as peter said, "but master you have the words of life."

We know its not indoctrination that makes Christians. Look how many white people believe in karma and tantric yoga and Buddhism, paganism, materialism or even satanism or are atheist. So it can't be a little bit of teaching from our youth that makes a christian in their 30's and upward. We even know of Muslims - staunchly indoctrinated from birth! who come to Christ and even risk their livelihoods for Him. We know of satanists and scientists who left those areas of pursuit to follow Christ. We know there are people in jail in china and other places for their faith in Jesus.

Why is it that people change their ways; not to commit fornication, not to steal or lie or cheat on their taxes and praise Him for parting traffic even if He had nothing to do with it. Why would people deny themselves, take up the cross of some dead guy who a few claimed to have seen resurrected?

    So what is it?

    Lack of ego?
    Hatred of evil?
A gene active in them, dormant in so many others?
A gullibility to believe in the supernatural?
An obsession to do good to people they do not know?
Are they so amazed by their surroundings they just want to believe it had to have been created and did the bible fill that gap?

I think its all of those things.

One needs lack of ego to submit to God
One instinctively hates evil and so does God.
They believe and others do not, although i don't think it is a gene.
Jesus did miracles, God created the universe and they believe it.
They do incredible good on a personal level to strangers.
Are the simple or naive - no - peculiar - yes lol.

The answer is faith. Faith is the one thing that brings them to the cross and beyond. It is the one quintessential ingredient that God says "Ye must have!"
And christians no matter how infantile their belief seems to others, have faith. At first a small measure of faith to believe, a saving faith, if you will but then that faith grows until like a mustard seed from a small start it becomes an immense tree-like bush.

I am sure Christians did not even see it coming but one day their faith rose up in them and instead of ridiculing they decided to Experience it, to let faith tell them what to do and after that it has been one hugely rewarding, super happy, peacefulness of humility serving others without thought of reward and giving all the glory to God for making every day so uniquely possible. Shaking hands with other christians in the kingdom of God here on earth.

Most of these christians lived in the world, as part of the world and did the things of the world. They sampled what the world has to offer. They have lived on both sides of the track and they came out of the world, to deny the world.

Faith, gentle people, faith to believe. When we discover exactly what this faith to believe is all about then we will have answered this question but in the meantime we cannot deny that it is a daily experiencing of God personally that makes the journey possible.

      you answered wrong question...question is

So why is that the people who want to share their religious views with you never wanted to share yours with them?

Suppose i say jesus never existed and his teachings or so called teachings are repeat of eastern faiths and he brought nothing new ...his sacrifice was not sacrifice because if he was what bible says he was , he fooled the world in name of sacrifice and if he was what jews (the people whom are most likely to know jesus than any other) believe him to be , jesus died because of his false conviction...

so when u sell bible , i have right to express myself...so question is So why is that the people who want to share their religious views with you never wanted to share yours with them?

The same reason people go after faith healers, fortune tellers and the like.

If anybody does not believe as you do is ego?
      Is this ego too?
And as pisean pointed out, yo answered the wrong question!
