The apologists of the Church assured the contemporary world that the horrors of the Inquisition will never be repeated, ever again. But the Catholic State of Croatia proved them wrong. The attempted coup of Hungary, when Cardinal Mindszenty tried to set up a totalitarian Catholic State, proved them wrong. The Catholic terrorism of Vietnam proved them wrong. The Catholic terrorism of Catholic Ireland proved them wrong.

Catholicism got so far from the teachings of its central christ figure because it - like most loud christian sects today - chose to follow the teachings of paul and not those of christ.

Paul 'translated' the original message into a form acceptable to politics in the ultimate act of betrayal far worse and more far-reaching down the centuries than Judas ever did.

Had you all the time it appeared to agree with you huh !!  Then you resort immediately to abuse - typical pretend-christian behaviour.

Deborah demonstrated very clearly what the paul issue is about - and you blah-blah-ing on and on is also typical pretend-christian behaviour when you lose an argument,  all noise and no substance.

You ARE a saulian not a christian, just look at your abusive behavour, bullying and hollow arrogance, in what way is any of it even in the spirit of your supposed christ figure ??   you demonstrate exactly what the paul discussion was about and your lewd messages to Deborah illustrate exactly why you try to gain some kind of power over others with your vaccuous religion.

oh stop lying and trying to justify your own ignorance with lies.
if you would stop seeing yourself in others you would know that confidence is not arrogance and stern reproof in the face of stubborness is not bullying.

I am here for clarity not for power, lol, this is the internet, man.

Deborah is done. Anyone reading with an ounce of the spirit of God can see through her first grade deceptions. really i am not surprised that you choose to believe that garbage.

Saul helped the gentiles figure out whatsup. If you don't see the wisdom and spirit of christ in Him, you are truly lost.

Deborah is most definately not done - and you know it, but I guess lying for jesus is the way of paul huh !! ?

every bad teacher and other types of egomaniac claim confidence and stern reproof to justify their ignorant bullying.

deborah has not a leg to stand on. You cannot take verses out of context and be correct, it is impossible.

                please answer the question

You know, let me make sure I have this debate straight.

                1. The all-powerful, real, living God sent his real, begotten, fully divine Son to suffer and die and show humanity the way to heaven for all time to come.

                2. A mere couple of decades later some guy came along and ruined Jesus' message for pretty much everyone for the next couple thousand years. God did absolutely nothing to stop this.

                3. Paul deliberately perverted the faith in hopes of gaining...um...well, he gave up a comfy position as a well-respected high-and-mighty Pharisee and ended up getting himself executed so I'm not really sure what he had to gain from it.

                Something doesn't add up here.

The only reason the worlds current leading religions are around today is because of the bloodshed at the command of their doctrines.

I find it amusing how people can claim that their religion is peaceful in the face of this even when their book actually commands you kill non believers which is exactly what they did in the past.

So many billions of people in denial. I am embarrassed to be of the same race as these people.

The desire for power corrupts. It always has. Organized religion is no different from any other human endeavor.

I think you hit the nail on the head when you mentioned catholicism so many times and these are indeed a culprit organization, corrupted by power and full of repulsive doctrines. Indeed the spirit of Jesus and God is far from them.

The KKK are mainly  baptist and have been responsible for a great deal of suffering. One cannot put a label to one without also labeling another or better, the self and any affiliated group.

This is common knowledge, just google the many early KKK pics and behind the mutilated bodies hung in the trees there is usually a baptist chapel, just occasionally it is another disgusting racist denomination.

The groups like the IRA, the KKK and guys like Timothy McVeigh are prime examples of domestic terrorists who claim to be "Good Christians". I didn't know that the KKK were primarily Baptists. It would sure explain alot.

oh i see, so we are looking at pictures and seeing a church in the background and just naturally concluding this information. Is this similar to the pictures posted of hitler shaking hands with the pope and everyone thinking he has actual catholic ties? Could not the pope have been afraid to the point of unwilling cooperation? Could not these bodies in the trees have been hung as a sign against a baptist church instead of in cohoots with a baptist church.
I am sorry a few pictures does not an accurate story tell. I prefer much much better research if i am going to formulate any conclusions.

I've just been on www.kukluxklan.bz and they seem to talk a lot about "white christians".

              Here is an exert from their website;

"We must be legally recognized as the voice of White Christian America."

Funny that. I guess you are wrong.

Oh man !!  don't let a few facts get in the way of centuries of reinterpretation will you.   If photographs taken by the KKK of their victims hung in front of their churches are not enough proof for you then you have a serious problem with the c oncept of proof.  I guess you can trot off now and believe what somebody said about it all a generation or two later just like paul did   big_smile big_smile

Yes you would like to believe that i am sure. But did you look at the faces of the priests on the sidelines? They did not look happy at all.
What of another secret agenda. If the kkk say they are the voice of christian america, what does this really tell you? First that they are sheeps in wolves clothing. Second their actions do not resemble christianity at all. Third their faces are covered, and thats kinda weird for someone walking in the path of God. I am sure what we are seeing here is some agenda that has nothing to do with christianity at all, in spite of what they say.

"The Ku Klux Klan is THE only organization dedicated to preserving white culture! We stand for family values, the American Constitution, our representative Republic, freedom of religion and western culture. We stand for the values of our nations forefathers. Who else will speak for Whites? What Preacher, Professor, Doctor or Attorney. What group or organization defends the rights of white people? What politician dares to be honest enough to speak up for you."

I read only a smidgen that pertained to christian and the word baptist is not on that page at all.

Perhaps we should all just listen to paul and get things right smile

Your prevarication and simple mindedness slides like diahorreah into lying for jesus - You can't see the total inhumanity of these worst of criminals, and you blind yourself to their faults clearly being of christian origin.  And yet it is impossible to find any origin in the words of the christ character in the book !!!  If you opened your mind as far as you opened your mouth you might be able to see the obvious dangling in front of you, as obvious as the mutilated bodies of men women and children hanging in the trees at the church doors.

It is hard to imagine that anyone, however blinded by their own personal agenda, would lie and make themselves into such a fool for unproveable, recycled, translations of second hand whispers - and yet deny the photographic evidence of the depths to which that course is prepared to sink.

More than any other post I think your shoddy denial of the evidence before your eyes, supplied by the actual perpetrators of these crimes because they were so proud of themselves, sums you up totally.

At least i am not so quick to blame and i try to find whats really going on, you just stick to your personal agenda and label folk who may well be innocent.
Your talk is well below what you say of my talk and with all your negative assumptions of what i am like and what i do, i am still miles ahead of you.
                    Good luck in the future

The Vatican is one of the few Christian sects (if not the only one) that show some any sort of modernization.  Yes, Jesus is listed at #6 on the totem pole, following a list of saints, to pray to.  In the 1950’s, the Vatican accepted the Big Bang. Also John Paul 2nd accepted evolution and apologized to the Jews for past crimes committed against them through the ages. They got a bad rap for crucifying Jesus when in fact crucifixion is a Roman punishment. The occupied Jews were not authorized to execute anyone. That takes away the fun for the Roman occupiers. Personally the Vatican owes the Muslim World in the Middle East an apology for the Crusades. Of course if they started making amends to all the groups of people they slaughtered in the past, there would be little time for Catholic stuff. But the Vatican is still behind the times. They still think homosexuality is a bad thing, they refer to it as a sin. Having the Pope go to Africa, where the AIDS virus runs ramped, and telling everyone that contraceptives is a big no no, also looks pretty stupid.

Yes we can see how wishy washy the catholic belief system is. They are willing to play numbers games and be politically correct in order to look favorable. Apologies are always a good ground breaker but it comes from a double minded, two faced religion that really only cares about its public face.

Too look to catholicism for spiritual ways is like looking to a sieve for water.

Yeah religion and politics are in bed together. But what you need to consider is that the Creator never said anything about creating a church or religion. He tried to give us a way of life. A means to more abundant living where everyone could enjoy and share in the fruits of their labor. There were those who did'nt want to see this happen if they were'nt in charge, namely satan. Oh I know you don't believe in the devil, that's one of his better tools. Taking the chance on alienating a few folks, he has a "girlfriend," who thoughout history has murdered and tortured millions for power and control and did it all in the name of the lord. And you know what? They're at it again. But of course you see nothing wrong in it. Could it be, you think you have a share of the bounty coming? Unless you happen to be him, satan has shown he can be selfish in sharing the glory, to say the least. He'll chew you up just as he did Hitler,Stalin and all the rest. Wake up man, take a good look at what's going on in the world. What's wrong in it? Obviously you don't know much about that politically religious party in Rome or you really don't care. Take a look at that web site I gave. Click on the mark of the beast. All roads lead to Rome.
