I used the left side of my brain, then my right, then my left and went back to my right and then I finally figured it out! I think! smile

That had me foxed at first, had to look twice. I thought it was the bloke hugging until I looked close. Interesting pic. Also interesting that you put hugging under individual and team sport! Just kidding, I find it can be tricky to choose a suitable category.

I suppose it could be arugued they are both embracing each other. However if we were looking at (effort involved) I would give more credit to the person squatting down, leaning forward, and wrapping their arms around the shoulder of the person that is laying on a sofa. The person on the sofa merely reached up to (accept) the embrace. One man's opinion! :-)

Clearly it is the girl who is doing all of the hugging. (forgot to mention it earlier) :-)

You are right!  She is behind him.  I assumed she was sitting down, but it is the other way around.  Seriously, those pants are a little too girly for a guy to wear!  That didn't help me figure this out!

Wow, this is an amazing photo.  I had to look four times to see it.  It reminds me, too, of that great art instruction book, "Drawing on the Right Side of Your Brain."

From a distance it looks like the guy. Especially on a small mobile screen but when you enlarge the photo it doesn't quite look right and the female stood up is the 'hugger'

    Nice challenge

I did have to take a second look. Brain got confused for a sec (easy to do), then I zoned on body types and got it. (If those were his arms I'd be like bro,
" C'mon Man!" )..... Cool pic. Weird, now every time I look at it my brain is telling me he is in the purple shirt..... walking away now hahaha.
