camping is fun but my skin suffered and tanned a lot!

"Camping Month"

Prior to this i had never ever gone for camping in my life and no, i am not complaining. I was happy with the sleepovers where my friends and i used to paint our toe nails and gossip about our surroundings.Things change after marriage, when you expect your partner to accompany you to makeup store and give useful feedback also then you should also gear up yourself for his idea of fun. So here i was getting ready for the camping "fun". Somehow even after a suffering a little torture on the skin, i was excited after my first camping experience. A word of advice - never ever show too much of excitement on what your husband's plan, you might have to do it again. This happened with me,my first camping was during the labor day weekend at and the second time at Half moon bay(the last weekend) and in both these trips i faced extreme of hot and cold. While my skin was tanned, sweaty in the former, my skin became dry in the latter trip.

I searched the net, spoke to many people, applied a few packs and yes saw improvement in my skin.So i am sharing with you the packs which i applied and also the packs which i didn't apply(due to skin type).

Try these!

  1. For glowing skin, soft skin, take a ripe banana, blend it with 3 tsp of honey and make a thick paste and apply on face daily. This pack also helps in removing sun burns.
  2. Rose water is an excellent toner and cleanser.
  3. A pinch of turmeric ,salt and aloe vera can help in cleansing and moisturizing.
  4. Coconut water can be used for removing tan. Simply apply if after washing your wash and wash after 15 minutes.
  5. To remove scars and regain natural glow, apply daily 1tsp fresh cream, a pinch of turmeric and 1/2 tsp of honey.
  6. Fullers earth and sandalwood powder is good for lightening complexion and removing scars. If you have dry skin , add yogurt.
  7. Apply tomato pulp to remove scar marks in face.
  8. Lime juice and turmeric are natural bleaches. MIx them and apply or mix them with besan(chikpea).
  9. Papaya pulp is very good for dry skin.
  10. 5 tsp orange juice, 2 tsp flour and one egg mixed together is a very good pack for glowing skin.
  11. Fullers earth, rose water, lime juice 2 drops, pinch of tumeric, yogurt is an excellent pack for oily skin, not only it reduces the greasiness, it gives a fresh look to the skin.
  12. Potato juice and fullers earth can reduce tanning if applied 3 days a week.
  13. Orange peel is a good scrubber for skin and a good agent for cleaning skin. Orange peel with rose water reduces tanning.
  14. a paste of ghee, orange lentils, milk and flour is an excellent pack or glowing skin.
  15. Oatmeal and peach is a very effective herbal face mask.
  16. For a clear skin , mix honey and oatmeal into a thick paste and wash after 15-20 minutes.
  17. Rose water and Glycerin make an extraordinary skin toner.

My skin is okay now not good till cause i get lazy sometimes to apply the packs. These sites are also very useful.http://www.medindia.net/beauty/facescrubs.asp, http://dipsmi.hubpages.com/hub/glowing-skin-at-less-cost,
