100GB External Hard Drive is an Outdated Technology
If you are looking for an external storage solution to compliment with your PC or laptop computer internal storage drive, then you are should be looking for external hard disk drive. External drive as it name suggests is a hard drive that is designed to function outside from your CPU unit.
What you need to do when using it is to plug it into the USB port as this device uses this interface for connection (most computing devices nowadays utilize USB for connection). There are many storage capacity that you can choose from such as the 100gb external hard drive, 200gb, 320gb, 1tb and so on.
However, please note that if you are going to look for the solution that offers you 100gb, perhaps you might want to think twice. 100gb is already out of date and no manufacturer is going to produce it.
Furthermore, very few retailers will carry this model/capacity today and even if they have it, it is mostly from the old stock so it's better if you don't buy them. Out dated technology is not as efficient and reliable as compares to the most current one. They don't have the fastest speed and perhaps are not as durable as the ones from the latest version.
If you are so keen on getting a 100gb external hard drive, you might consider looking for more trusted brand in data storage solution such as Seagate, Western Digital, Maxtor, Iomega, Hitachi, Buffalo, Samsung and HP. Don't ever try those that bear no name that most probably manufactured by small players in China. You will definitely regret it.
