Actually it is neither. It is just a tool. There is also a third option when "judging" something - it's called neutral.
Is a phone good or bad or neutral?
None of the above. It's a tool for communication.
It is really same as anything. Fire is good or bad depending on how it is used. And this is pretty much the same for any thing that exists or is created.
I believe the answer to your ? is that simple.
Child mortality has dropped from 50% worldwide to less than 15%, and in developed nations, women can have two kids with high confidence both kids will grow up - due to antibiotics, vaccinations, advanced healthcare.
Only because child mortality dropped and industrialization allowed women to earn as much in a factory as men has women's equal rights become possible.
Life expectancy has grown from around 50 to 70+ because of healthcare.
Far more people world wide are obese than starving, and the starvation is only due to inability to afford food or distribution disrupted by war - that's entirely due to industrialized farming and distribution of food.
Women's equality, longer lives and lower child mortality for all, far less starvation - technology is a net positive for all.

There seems to be a fine line between "I can do this" and "let go and let God".It would appear we can and must do both. But perhaps there is another way to look at it.
