I need to upload some videos onto youtube so I can upload them on to hubpages. I downloaded the multi-uploader widget thingy, but it wont let me upload these videos
I have the same problem. A friend of mine has sent me some DVD's of her dancing, and I'd like to load excerpts from them on to Youtube. No idea where to start!
I know this isn't really a HubPages question, I just haven't had time to do any research on it yet.
This is the problem of formats. You can upload your videos on youtube in the formats prescribed for uploading by youtube. Hence you have to convert your dat, mpgav or dvd format into avi etc. Please see the FAQ's of yiutube.
software is available on the net for converting *.dat files to other format. I have used VCD cutter to do it. Search the net , you will find several free software also.
I've been on vacation and stuff, so I'm just trying it out, but I'm using a thing called video cutter cause my dads site advisor wont let me download the VCD cutter.

I am contemplating a video hub or two. I say 'contemplating,' because it all depends on whether I can successfully learn the proper formatting, and upload process. This digital editing is new to me, and I struggle with it. I have only the free version of Windows Movie Maker that...
