Of all of the places you have visited, one probably stands out in your mind above all others. Which one is that for you? Can you share with us why it is? What makes it so very special to you?

One of the best trips I had was to Nova Scotia, specifically Cape Breton.  My husband and I stayed at bed and breakfasts (less expensive and amazing food and warm hospitality).  I loved the beaches and the beautiful scenery!  We would love to go back there soon!

Palau, It is beautiful.  I remember boating around the islands and thinking they need hair cuts.  The warm water and rich ocean life is so relaxing.  The history is rich also.

Bejing with Hong Kong a close second. I have a few issues with the way the Chinese live both politically and the way they treat animals, but the country, fascinating place. There is such a contrast between Hong Kong and Bejing and yet both are very 'Chinese' at the same time.

The Great Wall is quite touristy, but if you wander a little further along the wall walkway, the wall itself becomes derelict where the locals have over many years stolen the stones to build houses.

The food is fabulous at both places and again, very different from each other.

We visited both places in the mid/late 90's just before the handover of Hong Kong. I would love to go back to both one day.

It would have to be the Grand Canyon. Funny, what struck me most was how it looked just like pictures I'd seen.  It was breath taking.  It was also our first vacation as a young married couple so aside from the beautiful scenery, it was an adventure.

    Cancun Mexico,
Our family manages to take a trip every other year to Cancun Mexico and has become one of our favorite vacation spots. All-inclusive resort was one of the best experiences of my life.  I loved the beach and the crystal clear blue water.  The hospitality was fantastic!

SOUTH AFRICA - It was an amazing experience that is difficult to put into words.  The fact that I was able to visit several villages and see true poverty made me realize how blessed I am.  Going on safari, and having the lions and elephants at your fingertips.  Standing in the middle of Victoria Falls, the best rain shower ever.

I have answered this question a few times, and my answer is still the same. My pick would be Montreal, Canada. I think the main thing that attracts me to it most, is the vast difference in culture from the US. When you walk down the street, you almost feel as if you are not even in Canada, as it has a more European feel to it. Could be because most everyone there speaks french.

You also quickly notice that the Canadians in Montreal are even more "free spirited" than those in Toronto. Things that would make American's nervous are right in the open on display. Their clubs and bars make most American bars seem very dull and boring. It's just so different, lively, and clean.

I thought about writing a hub about Montreal, but there is so much to tell, I think my head would explode from trying to get out all the information. I have been to the city twice, and each time was a very wonderful experience. I would go back again every year, but, I can't afford to travel that much any more.

For me, it would be Cambria, near Hearst Castle at the West Coast of the US. It has everything I love, a beautiful little village center, great shops and galleries, gorgeous nature surrounding it, the Pacific right next to it, grandiose houses, cute little antique shops, nice people.

I was there a few times, it has a very spiritual feeling to it, people are cheerful, they are very welcoming and open, it feels real and very special.

That would be Gili Trawangan in Indonesia: beautiful nature, culture and people. I had the best time ever in what I would call paradise on Earth. Of course, I wrote a Hub about it if you want to check it out; my passion for it was so big that it even won Hub of The Day!

I haven't done much traveling. But I have gone to Texas. I love Texas the people are friendly, the food is great, and the weather is just right! I traveled a couple of years ago During the month of March. Where I am from there was snow and it was freezing. I enjoyed my entire stay there, did some fishing, visited tons of restaurants and even went to Sea World.

Toronto, it was so clean.  You could get up early and the trash trucks and street cleaners were out every day cleaning.   The sidewalks were full of people.

I don't have 1 place better that stands out the most . Horizontal Falls WA was amazing but you cant swim there . Ningaloo Reef WA is beautiful where we went snorkeling - swam with a turtle ! however Cape Leveque was special/ Saw a whale while in the water at Whitsunday Islands !
Loved Switzerland / French villages/St Ives  -Cornwall in England / New Zealand / San Francisco Venice and tons of other places ! So many amazing places in the world -
If I have to pick one I will say Ningaloo Reef WA as you walk out a little way and see the amazing coloured fish - turtles etc ! Have hubs about some of these adventures.

One place that stands out to be is Tibet. I was just in awe of the natural beauty and the friendly people. If you are observant enough you will still see the tension between the Chinese and Tibetans, such as them only having the last Dali Llama's photo and not the current one, and the presence of soldiers (with huge guns!) on the rooftop of buildings. If you get the chance to go, it is definitely worth it to venture outside of Lhasa.

I got to finally tour Graceland this past year. It left me with a feeling of contentment because I have wanted to go there all my life. Graceland is just as he left it. You are walking through a time warp as you guide yourself through the place the King called home. Elvis was a special person and you can almost hear him singing Amazing Grace as you near his grave site at the rear of the estate. We lost a legend long before we should have. RIP Elvis.

Melbourne Beach, Florida, was totally awesome.  I'd wake up at 5 in the morning to the sunkist orange sun rising over the Atlantic.  I would sing "How Great Thou Art!"

Lihue, Kauai. My grandma lives in the island for a longtime and she is 80 years old. Sometimes i always felt how my grandma was able to live on the island by herself. Even though Kauai doesn't have volcanoes, i have this nervous feeling when i'm thinking about grandma. I would have like to live on the island and help my grandma. Kauai has the Waimea Mountains that stretch across the land showing it's light brownish and dark brownish layers... I met my dad's side of the family, there was so many cousins, aunts, and uncles. That memory was like a puzzle, all of the pieces are together as Ohana.

Granada of the Andalusia province in Spain. Perched in the Sierra Nevada where three rivers (Beiro, Darro and Genil) meet, the geographical setting is spectacular beyond compare. Add to that a history that stretches back to at least the 8th century B.C.E. with Phoenician, Greek, Punic, Roman, Visigothic, Islamic and Iberian cultures makes this region of Spain a treasure trove of antiquities. Then, to top it off, is the Calat Alhambra (al-Qal‘at al-Ḥamrā’, the Red Fortress), one of the architectural wonders of the ancient and modern worlds.

Without any second thought, the answer would be Vienna, Austria.
I consider it to be one of the most beautiful and cleanest cities. The most amazing part of the place is the calmness... I consider myself lucky visiting Vienna.....
