    Williamsburg, Virginia
It's more than just history (although that is fun too). There are a million fun, local, and unique resaturants, beautiful views, and off-the-beat places to visit. It's the perfect place for a relxing vacation.

I just came from a short trip from Charleston, SC.  If you like early American historical places and great food, it's definitely a place to go.

China is definitely so huge that you will find a place that you enjoy. I enjoyed my trip a few years back to Suzhou and Hangzhou. http://hubpages.com/hub/My-impressions-of-China

Other recommended places would be Sabah in Malaysia.
