good question for me the worst thing of our country Pakistan is the worst traffic and best is our rich culture.
There are lot many things to say but one thing which I like the most is the festivals of India. Through out the year many festivals are celebrated in India and people enjoy its spirit wholeheartedly.
The worst thing about India is the love for animals without basic civic sense. People take their pets such as dogs for a stroll or domestic animals are left free on the busy roads. You can easily understand that dogs pollute the society parks and roads while they pass out their body waste. Just not this when the roads are full of vehicles then suppose a single or group of domestic animals come on your way then an accident may take place. Simply there is no rule to control this as well as the basic sense is completely missing.
The best thing about my country is the nature. The worst thing is that I feel I'm not accepted by a large part of the Finnish speaking people. I belong to a minority that speaks Swedish in Finland and I really need to fight for my right to speak my mothertongue.
The best thing about Jamaica is our people who are warm, friendly and loving.
The worst thing about my country is the crime rate.
Just like Mrs. Shampa Sadhya said above, there are a lot of things about my country that a like and same way lot of things that i dislike. But from the hottest and latest on goings in my country, I like its culture, nature and perhaps every natural thing. what i hate the most about my country is corruption.
I would have to say the entire system here in the US sucks. I think we should have centralized medicine and our government needs to be restructured because this system is designed for the government to win while we pay taxes and millions are without healthcare, adaquate housing, childcare, or food.
the best thing about Canada is the way we are so laid back. the worst thing is how bad our immigration laws are.
Best thing about my country:
It's rich culture and traditions. Cultural diversity prevails in the form of languages, religions, festivals, dances, people and their customs.
Bad thing about my country:
There is no system for a common man. India is ruled by most of the corrupt leaders. They use the system as per their convenience. A commoner is a sufferer here.
Freedom. America is known as the land of the brave and the free. We are free to live within the norms of society, practice our beliefs and exercise our liberties. There are also many freebies in America. Stores and banks give you free pens and candies. You need to go to the bathroom, it's free and what makes it better, there are toilet paper, soap and water -- which in some countries are not available. There are charity groups that help feed and house needy families, and other public and private organizations that provide emotional help and counseling for those who are emotionally troubled and in despair.
So far, I cannot think of any worst thing. None that I know of. God bless America, God bless all countries of the world.
Hi, I'm from Scotland and the best thing is our scenery and our very long history. The thing I detest about my country is the sectarianism and bigotry that goes on between fans of certain football (soccer) teams!! One lot are supposed to be protestant the others catholic - neither act like Christians and it's just an excuse to hate and be violent. Thankfully they are in the minority but it's very shaming, I think for our country that has so much to be proud of!
The best thing about the country I live in is the people - they are warm and friendly, always smiling and welcoming.
The worst thing, hands down, would be corruption. I'm tired of seeing people's hard earned tax money going into the filthy pockets of the selfish and corrupt.
America: The best thing we have going for us is the U.S. Constitution and the idea that governments should serve the people and protect civil liberties.
The worst thing about it is that we have lost our sense of personal responsibility and want the government to intrude in the most personal matters in our lives. We have fallen far from what we once were. I fear we are destined to fall like Rome; and for the same reasons.
In my homeland and in every country I've visited, the best thing is the spirit of righteousness for its own sake. And some places, this remains exceedingly rare.
The worst thing is ego -- that sense of entitlement, the horn of selfishness and source of all things evil. Ego all too frequently remains invisible and unnoticed, because people look outside of themselves and cannot see the ego they hold onto. What makes it particularly difficult is that people frequently consider ego to be self, but it's only a pretender.
All interesting answers we have here. Thanks everyone for taking the time to answer.
As for me, the best thing about my homecountry would have to be the Filipino people. They are forever optimistic and hardworking notwithstanding the calamities and government corruption that plague the Philippines. Given the right opportunities and ample support, I feel Filipinos can really make their lives so much better.
The worst? Darn corruption and typhoons!
I'm a native of the United States and feel the best thing about this country are the possibilities. This is a nation where a college dropout can launch a computer software juggernaut or a social media empire. I kid that sold trash bags door to door can start a telecom company and make billions selling it. This country not only allows for taking risks, it encourages it. I'm able to have a web design company and a profitable tech blog in this company.
The worst thing would be the political system. I'm sure we're not abnormal in this regard, but it is so frustrating watching people we trust to work in our best interest so thoroughly act like that only want to help themselves. It is definitely imperfect, but well worth it to live in a place like this.
The best : People who are hospitable and love their families especially the olds..
The worst: I will only talk of the simple one, this is the country where some people laugh at fellow Filipino when he is not good in English communication.
The best thing about India is the culture and diversity it offers. The there are beautiful places to visit, places within various states of India, but still so different from each other when it comes to language, food, festival, culture, history and climate. Everything is so different within India, yet beautiful.
The worst thing for me about India is the way the country is handled. More or less we feel like puppets in the hands of the so called country administrators. Corruption in India may also be listed as one of the worst things about India.
I have 2 countries to consider:
Philippines, my home country. The best thing is the hospitability of the people and the caring and taking care of the old parents at home. The worst thing is the corruption. The "under the table" management.
Germany, where I live more years than in the Philippines. The best thing is orderly, punctuality and corruption is really punish by the law. The worst thing is the rudeness of some of the Germans. They say what they think about you without thinking how you feel about it.
