If you could take a road trip to any destination in the US which would you choose?

Where would your dream US road trip take you?

My dream would be to travel the entire country in an RV when I retire - and that's a dream I intend to make a reality smile.  I have traveled the states quite a bit already and truly there is no one place that outdoes another.  The Rocky Mountains are stunning, the Pacific Northwest is/was also very beautiful the Redwoods, ocean, I love Tybee Island in Georgia because the beach is pristine and if you hit it the right time of year there's not a lot of tourists.  My, so many great places in the US it's hard to pick just one smile  I think the place I haven't been I'd like to see would be the Grand Canyon for a hike.

I too would love to travel the New England states in an RV.  I just have this idea that it would be so nice to have your mobile hotel and enjoy the sights as you travel.

I'd definitely love to travel south to Southern California, but I'd also love to see New York City and Philidelphia.  I can't forget Hawaii.  I'd love to drive through the entire state and back.  It's too difficult to pick just one place smile

I would take a road trip through the Appalachian mountains. I would love to travel by day and camp by night along the road.
