If you could travel anywhere in the world to see one thing, where would you go and why?

Is there a physical landmark, historical site, local event, or attraction you would like to see?

The one place I'd like to go right now is to the Victoria and Albert Museum in London to see the David Bowie exhibition.  He's a legend!
Going a bit further afield I would like to go to the far north to see the northern lights.

I've always wanted to see London.

Where I'm living right now we can see the northern lights occasionally throughout the year if the conditions are right. They are beautiful. But I totally bet they are better even further north!

I have few special places that I want to visit because my close friends live there and I would love to see the place of their birth and upbringing through their eyes, there is no better way to experience the new place that through the lenses of someone close whose heart still beats for it...

@Anselome: If only one thing is condition, then i'll go to see "The TAJ MAHAL," in Agra, India. Because It's the Symbol Of Love, which a Mughal Emperor "SHAH JEHAN" Built in Love For His Wife.! smile

The Taj Mahal is definitely something to see. I didn't know that he built it for his wife. That's a pretty big gesture don't you think?

I would like to eventually go back to a hidden natural spring in a mature cedar swamp north of Lake Superior and North of Nakina (20-30 miles) about 3/4 of a mile or roughly a kilometer off the Ogoki logging road. The cedar swamp is mystical and unusual with the distinct olfactory of roses eminating all around it.

That sounds fascinating! It's not very far from where I live. Maybe I'll make a trip there one of these days. How did you find this place?

I would travel to France for several weeks, rent a bike and make a tour around the country, without a specific purpose.

I will agree with you on that. Relatives of mine went there and loved it. There are quite a few large buildings I would love to see!
