    Do you live in Philadelphia or have you lived or visited Philadelphia?

    I will be arriving in Philadelphia on Friday afternoon, November 22, 2013.  I'll be living and working there at least through mid February and probably through most of May.  I'm looking for a good neighborhood to stay in that is near Fox-Chase Cancer Center.  Also, I am looking for interesting things to do and places to visit.  Of course there is the historic area, and I'd like to know about some of the more obscure places in the historic district.  Are there parts of the city I should avoid?   I will be doing a lot of writing about the city, so let me know what you know.   Thanks Hubbers

    I went there once and It was ok.  When walking at night there was a man who offered to wash my car window and I told him no thank you.  He threw a bottle at me.  I am not sure if he was actually seeing more than one of me because he actually missed.  I will leave it up to you if you want him to wash your window or not. 

    The other thing I noticed was how some of the streets downtown were one ways streets during portions of the day and not during other portions of the day.
