Lady G, I think you in WV are getting the brunt of this storm. In a way I envy the magic of it, but having been there with friends and my daughter in college, I know the awesomeness of this kind of winter storm and the havoc it can wreak on valleys and mountainsides (of which you have plenty) and on the interstates, too, with their speed limits of 70 mph or more. Hope you are hunkering around a warm fireplace and staying off the roads.
But then, you live there because you are strong and free, taking the WV storms of winter into stride.

Last Friday we had several inches of snow after a few really cold days (temps in the teens). I was able to easily drive to work in it. Today was a different story. We had freezing rain and ice hit just...

When I was out shopping yesterday no one had on jackets here in central Texas. In fact, many many people were in shorts as we had really warm temperatures. I ran the air conditioner in my truck coming home! A cold...
