Going home doesn't bother me, it's going to work when it does bother me, especially the... stop, stop, stop, stop, stop.. when you hit each red light trying to get to work on time.

same with me. I'm a totally different person driving TO work from the one coming back from it!

Mornings: Tense, distracted, adjusting hair in rear view mirror, speeding, trying to make it before the dreaded signal turns red...damn, not good at all.

Coming back home: Softly smiling, relaxed, humming, traffic lights are a welcome pause to change c'ds... life's good! smile

I just scurry along the shoulder of the road trying not to get hit by hurried drivers

Meek huh?  I prefer a gentle, non-threatening, non-offensive member of the community.

I am never annoyed. I am so happy to be almost home, I could care less! Usually, I am listening to music in the car anyway. Stopping gives me a chance to sing, and even dance in the driver's seat! Yes, I have gotten some real curious looks...lol

I ride my bike on trails so I have only 1 traffic light that can stop me. I can avoid it if I have to.

I am not annoyed at these moments because I try to enjoy and appreciate small details of the culture and customs of the place where I am.

Drive by a different route.  Use side roads that have stop signs instead of lights. It may be annoying to stop at them, but you get to go sooner - unless the traffic is worse, of course! lol

A red light is the least of my problems on the roads here.... Try having to get home through a crowd of idiots who ignore every rule of the road and have no common courtesy to their fellow man.. There is reason that every other car in saudi has dents in it!!! Oh I wish to wait peacefully at a red light......

Sorry, can't comment.  I live so far out in the sticks we don't have a paved road much less traffic lights.

Stop lights don't bother me, it's the two hour train crossings that are annoying...ugh.

Yes, because the traffic light I'd hit before my house from my last two jobs was at the bypass. I have to make a left and it seems like 10 years till the signal comes on, especially during rush hour. Oy vey.
