What tips do you have for starting a new software (i.e textmate, photoshop, illustrator)
I'm not sure if you mean writing and selling new software, or if you mean using it.
If you mean using it, here are my tips from over 25 years in IT and training.
1. Know what the software does and doesn't do, and what you want to use it for.
2. Clean up your system (no viruses, plenty of disk space, etc.) before installation.
3. Read all instructions before installation.
4. Take time to learn your way around the program.
5. Pick a few specific small projects, and do each one carefully, learning to use the program.
6. Remember that there is a lot of excellent advice on programs and on add-ons on the web and on YouTube.
A software that you put a picture of you in it and then it allows you to drag and drop clothes from amazon or other websites. When you drag and drop the clothes on you will be able to tell how they will look on you.
Get a book on it! Or, if you know anyone on a graphic design type course, ask them for some of their tutorial notes? There are loads of videos online, you just have to search for what it is exactly that you want to do, using whatever software! good luck!

I would like to know how to do transparencies over two digital photos on my computer. I have a bunch of photo software but haven't explored them too much. I've always loved seeing pictures that are overlapping each other and parts of each photo show through the other. I'd love to...
