It was a good morning today!!! Checked the views to see I had crossed the 300,000 mark 10 and a half months after reaching the first 100,000 view mark. (which took a year and a half)
One hub expecially has been the reason for this success as it is pushing 130,000 views. Will have a 100,000 for this hub since football season began in about a week!

I thought I would share a happy occassion for writing a Hub!

It feels wonderful. Especially after Panda. For a few months there, I thought it was all over and almost removed my hubs. Glad I did not now.

With only 41 hubs, Michael, that is indeed something to celebrate, well done smile

A small handfull of the hubs are the big view receivers. Finding that niche I could specialize in was the key.

    Way to go Michael!

Wish I'd kept better track - I made 100,000 sometime early this year, but not sure just when.  I should see 300,000 in Jan.  It builds fast, doesn't it?

I believe my main point of hubs has been to speak to where the readers can understand. I try to relate and write as if I would "want" to read the article/hub.
In the future I now know I need to take the example of my highest view hubs and follow the pattern so I can write hubs that can generate the same success and even more success. Knowing what you are writing about is very important. Readers can see through writing an article with just words on a page and not the author having knowledge of the topic.

Well Done, I recently crossed 700K but it takes ages doesn't it!

It seemed I would never reach the 100,000 mark to start with. Then Panda...and I thought it was all over. Views went to lowest since I first began for a few months. Then when Football started and I think the sub-domain really settled...it came back amazingly!!!

Doing good here as well. Have been extremely busy with work outside of Hubpages, so haven't been in forums that much.

Never mind, I see from another thread that you have discovered the issue. I also had flagged it. As of this post, the sucker is still up. sad

I've got Norwegian plastered all over my profile page via hubtivity. Who wants to chat here awhile so that I can get rid of that?

I went elsewhere. My motives are that I don't want the search engines puzzling over a foreign language plastered all over the equivalent of my website's homepage.

That is awesome.  I myself have only been able to break the 5,000 mark (with my Hubpages articles, which get the bulk of the views) and I've been here for exactly one year (I joined and published December 1st last year).
