   I am currently at 491,819 total views. My slideshow views which are primarily active on my celebrity hubs is just over 681,000 views.

   All this is claptrap! You, like me, like most of us, lost traffic plus earnings with Panda.
   
   Actually, we didn't do anything to cause this.
   
   Google did it all on its own in its never ending 'quest' for quality content.
   
   Yeah right!
   
   Google is a business.
   
   Big business.
   
   We are small fry.
   
   HP always had a good relationship with Google, but I wrote here a while before I could appreciate that.
   
   Good relationship or not, Google has its finger in so many pies, it brought out an algorithm to deal with all those pies.
   
   And somehow, I became "surplus to requirements".
   
   I tried to write in US English, hard though it was, but still I am not wanted nor needed here.
   
   I am so sad because I liked it here.

      Hey Izzy, much of my problem is just as much my fault as it is Panda(Google). I made tons of changes from my originals, just so I could attempt to deal with Panda. And, none of it worked. I have continued to make changes, testing out keywords, editing hubs and the alike.
      
      My traffic is back up around 1000 views a day, but that's just been the last couple of days, yesterday and today. The other day I had a spike to 1100, but then it went back down to 800 views. I have been constantly in the range of 700-1000 views for the last couple of months, which is better than the original Panda hit, which my traffic dropped down to about 250-400 views per day.
      
      I've still not recovered the earnings.

         Not your fault. You made changes, and didn't get your traffic back.
         
         Then again, it maybe isn't important to you. Or maybe is, I don't know enough to say.
         
         I only joined HP to make money.
         
         I may have joined anyway, in my previous life I'd have loved this site anyway.
         
         Writing, maybe getting paid for it, market forces and all that jazz.
         
         We have all made changes. Some have worked and others haven't.
         
         But until we know what caused the problem, we cannot fix it.
         
         That is where I am.
         
         I don't know what to do. I have written a ton of new hubs. I have written non-sales hubs. I have written politically correct hubs, and I have written politically incorrect hubs.
         
         I'd already shared all my 'how to' hubs in things I knew about.
         
         But I could find more...
         
         What is wrong here? Am I the only one seeing something wrong here?

            Maybe google doesn't like your subdomain because it might not like some of your hubs?
            
            Have you considered making a second account to see if maybe it fares better?

            Hey Izzy, I am here to make money too. Write for earnings, just like many others. I've always had a slow learning curve and must learn at my own pace. So when I mean I make changes, I make those changes and then wait at least 2-3 weeks before I even think about making any other changes.
            
            If my traffic increases, then I hold off on making any further changes. I continue to monitored my traffic and review where I was previously. I cannot do any more than that.
            
            I'm sorry you're not doing well or having problems bouncing back, I truly am. I recently made layout changes and not going by what I was taught when I first arrived on HP. I am constantly testing different things to get the most impact per hub. Never mind writing a hundred more hubs.
            
            I'm still continuing to write hubs. However, my most recent hub was for the benefit of Hubbers and not really for my benefit. I like HubPages and I've enjoyed my time here and all the people(including YOU) I've met.

   Cool beans, Cags!  Like you, I should have reached 500,000 several months ago but Panda slapped me in Aug. as it did Izzy.  But today my traffic has suddenly shot up to almost pre-plunge levels, so if it keeps up I will be right behind you!  Maybe Izzy will get a break too!

    Congratulations Cagsil, hey pop over and look at my profile when you get a chance. There is something there which can get the views you need quickly and keep them coming.
    It took me a while to talk Paul Williams into letting writers join his platform. I have heard of people ranking on Google within hours and days but never with the three minutes he has had them ranked first page in. Just think you can write a short blog that will feed people to your hubs and get them ranked within, at least days. My blogs there are ranking first page within 48 hours searched by keywords.
    I gain nothing except the ability to talk to hubber friends a little more often. He gains new friends who will help his platform move forward faster. It is free with no OTO's or upgrades.

    Congrats Cagsil, see that's what I was talking about when I was merely trying to reach 100,000 views a few months.  I just added to your views, because I wanted to know what kind of hubs could get that many views, with so few of them, in such a short time. Well I got my answer, "well written, informative, things people really want to know," not all that personal stuff I write about. Now I have to go and start writing about things people really search for.  Because I only have so many followers, and friends, now I got to reach out to the world. Thanks so much Cagsil, for the "unintended" education. LOL!

       Hey Fastfreta, don't let my views misguide you. Remember my OP said that I had 681,000 slideshow views which come from my Celebrity hubs. I get more traffic from those hubs than I do with my written hubs.

          Oh, well, then, that's entirely different.  500,000 views in two years is an accomplishment worthy of praise, but two years and 3 months is slacker territory.
          
          And here I was admiring you. Now I feel like such a fool!
          
          Let's just do the math:  500,000 divided by 24 is over 20,800 per month on average.
          
          But divided by 27, it is a paltry 18,500 and change.
          
          I think that says all that needs to be said.  Definite slackery.

             We should also look at this in terms of a 'hub month", which further diminishes Cags accomplishment to 185 (18500/ 100 hubs).
             
             If we further divide that by the constant HpM (which I just made up and will set at 90), we see that Cags ends up being only a 2.
             
             So we are applauding half a million views when it can be reduced to 2 by simple division?
             
             I think not!
             
             Now, if we take MY hubs and multiply by my total views so far, it is a MUCH larger number.  If we then multiply it by the almost 20 months of my tenure, we get an INCREDIBLY large number.
             
             Hate to take the wind out of your sails, Cags, but 2 doesn't cut it.

                            5,000 views (your views per hub) times 330 (my hubs)  less my current views (81,000) or 1,570,000 views over the next six months  (our age difference here)..  and if you think THAT is going to happen to me, I have a wonderful investment opportunity I'd like to discuss with you!

                This smiley come from a colon : on one side and the word "cool" then another colon : on the other side. Make sure there are no spaces.
