I love Seinfeld... I have all of the seasons and never get tired of watching them. King of Queens is a favorite, too. Up until recently, I refused to watch it, but The Office is growing on me.

I think Two And A Half Men has brilliant comedy writing, and so does Big Bang Theory.

Does anyone remember, the Benny Hill show? my dad use to watch it late at night, and we were not allowed to watch. But we would hear him laughing his guts out. So us kids would sneak and watch it from the stairs, it was funny.

Most are old sitcoms. But the recent ones. There's The Office Steve Carrell is just brilliant and believable without even trying. And on the directorial aspect, I loved the shaky camera shooting employed, like its a documentary reality program you're watching. Also there's this UK show IT Crowd that show will kill you with laughter.

I agree about The Office, I had a hilarious time telling a family member that it was a reality show. They finally caught on by the end of watching their first episode. Good times. big_smile

You have to admit, Fox has the smartest and best looking journalists in the business...Megan, Lis, Greta, Julie, Gretchen, Patty Ann... just to name a few...most are former lawyers, some have advanced degrees in the hard sciences and psychology, and a couple have written best selling books...all are unabashedly pro-American ....and they represent the highest rated news programs on television..eat your heart out CNN, MSNBC, and CNBC...ABC, CBS, and NBC are liberal relics, watched by no one that has satellite or cable TV...

It has to be the "Honeymooners" There were more laughs on this show than ever to me.  The address 328 Chauncy Street, the address of the Kramdens was a place where humor was at its best. They just don't make them like that anymore.  That's why I bought the whole collection, to watch anytime I want a good laugh.

I like Monk even though it is not necessarily a comedy. Monk is very intelligent and he gets the job done; but he is obsessed with things most people might disregard. When you live with someone like Monk, you realize he may be fictitious but people like him are very real. It is laughable but definitely not funny!
