once rasulullah came over mushriks of mecca and invited them to accept islam, abu jahl rebuked him, saying; "If u r doing this so that we will testify before God in the other world that you performed ur mission of prophethood, we will testify it. Leave us then, O man! to ourselves"
When rasulullah left, mughira asked abu jahl if he admitted prophet Mohommad's prophet hood. ABU JAHL replied; "I know that he is truly a prophet. nevertheless, we compete with the banu hashim tribe (prophet's tribe) in everything. They have been boasting of providing food and water to the pilgrims. Now if they begin to boast of having a prophet amongst them, I won't be able to endure it at all"
Intelligent people who are not prejudiced and whose willpower is not paralyzed cannot help but belive in rasulullah(pbuh). In this respect, ALLAH says ; " we know well that their talk grieves you (O Mhommad!) ; in truth they do not deny you" (surah al_an'am, 33) people who sincerely sought him certainly found him, who ever seeks him will find him, whereas those who remain obstinate and ruled by their evil commanding selves will drown in unbelief and hypocristy.

So, study more and more about islam and all other religions and try to find the result that who's true?

If you're a good Muslim man, isn't it 70 virgins that supposedly wait for ya over the last hill?

Wonder what waits for the young Muslim women, especially those who die as virgins?

So which part of that Islamic belief is correct?  Can they both be correct?   Is it the desire of Muslim virgins that they be sex slaves to old Muslim men?  Is that what "Allah" has set in store for them?

70 virgins r, ofcourse waiting for men, but as I said before to another man that the wife of tht man will be 90% more n more beautifull than tht heaven's gal, so will he give lift to tht virgin or his most beauifull wife. The 70 virgins and angels  will be the slaves of tht pair, working for them always with no jealousy and no hate.

I f a small muslim gal died as virgin, when she will entre in to the heaven than she will be having all right to choose a muslim man whom she likes and who is unmarried. And the 70 virgins will be their slaves.

the last point, If u r mocking muslim old men, tht they do sex with young muslim virgin than its totally wrong, Islam had never allowed this kind of a mess, Hell is set for tht men who did this. ISLAM had always cared abt the rights of everyone.

That doesn't explain the plight of those 70 virgins who will be at the mercy of some man.

ok, then use ur common sense and anser me...

can a voman like to have 70  husbands, can she bear it?
if Allah gives them 70 husbands than the vomen vill think herself as a machine for men, n oneday she vill get hurt from this all..
C men can bear and love to have 70 vomen but vomen can't.

That would easily show that Islam is man made and has nothing to do with gods, that is, unless Allah promotes slavery. Oh wait, he does. smile

That is not true. Islam removes the rights of everyone. smile

    Actually.

Since Islamic doctrine defines woman as deficient in all ways. (ie, Physically, Spiritually, Intellectually, etc.),  the reasoning would be that once she has sacraficed herself in life, to the cause of Allah.

Then it would follow that Allah would simply forgive her her flaws and allow her to serve/service the Mujahadun. Who reside under the shade of the sword of Allah.

After all. Woman are for service to the man in Islam. So what greater reward could a woman ask for, then to be able to service the greatest of Islamic warriors.

    Sounds like fun to me.

And the self serving quote from the book that is in regards to the person in question, in order to verify the question. Is absurd. It is no more  than you telling me,  you are a prophet, and then latter supprting that boast with a story about how the last guy you boasted to said he didn't believe you... but he actually did, and you know this through the fact that you are a prophet.

?... that is just unacceptable as evidence of a claim.

    Errum said:
"forgetted what neil armstrong said when he was on the moon???
he says while we were on the moon we listened somekind of voice coming frm the world..."

Neil Armstrong converted to Islam?? Its a semi-popular, cheap islamic myth+propaganda which is completely groundless. Show me the video or audio tape where Neil has said such things! If you can, then I will surrender to islam whenever u want roll. But fortunately its only a myth & theres no such videos.

Now you might say that the Jews & Christians are controlling the media & they have stolen all the evidence of that event. Then how can we be sure that this myth is not fake? For your information, let me show you some points:

    1. Neil Armstrong is alive. If he has seen such miracles & has truly converted to Islam, then he must had started preaching Islam long long time ago. Unfortunately he is a man of science & still only preaches for NASA smile

    2. If he had really converted to Islam, then like other converts he also would have changed his name. However, he still uses his name as Neil Armstrong - which is not a Muslim name wink

    3. And about the Miraculous sounds that were heard on moon? Theres no air on moon & therefore no sounds can be transmitted (sounds cannot be without a medium). The thousands of pics & tape that NASA brought from its mission didnt show anything like that. Your claim is completely absurd!

    4. If something miraculous really happened there then it would have affected other astronauts too. However, none of the other crews converted to Islam nor they claimed to see any miracles.

    5. The second man to land on the moon is Buzz Aldrin, who is famous for his claim of UFO encounter (debatable) during Apollo mission on moon which is completely opposite of your claim. If his claim is right then highly intelligent alien species & star trek episodes would be considered more rational then your Surahs & Qalimas.

Thank You & please dont post such absurd things again. It only makes u look stupid sad

& btw, there are hundreds of Neil Armstrong videos in youtube or other sites where you will see Neil Armstrong is attending press, special ceremonies, giving speech, interviews etc etc. But in all those videos, you will never find a single line where Neil will claim that he has converted to Islam bcoz of such miracles on the moon wink

ok, so Im stupid & u r smart, happy? & What did I see there?

          1. None of the video showed that Neil Armstrong himself stating he is a Muslim. I dont know why did u give me the link.

          2. The video only shows two unknown guys, who pretends to be smarter than Hawkings & Einstein, claims some absurd & illogical things without any scientific proofs

I just dont understand why did u wast my time by asking to watch those videos? There are so many fake UFO, Mutant, Religious & Miracle videos in Youtube much better than these ones. Still nobody trusts them. And you think these cheap videos are reliable?? Open your mind honey, u still have time.

Anyways, my point was to prove that giving such list doesnt prove anything. I can provide lists again & again just like u but its worthless because the conversion is happening in all religions at almost same rate. Islam is doing no better than any other religion, it never did!

By the way, u have presented two separate lists: 1 christians converting to islam 2. Hindus converting to Islam Plus 155 reference links. While I have presented only the list of muslims converting to islam. If I present the list of hindus, buddhists & atheists converting to Islam then my list will look much much more longer than urs. Plus if you delete the reference links & hindu conversion, mine will easily look longer. I hope you have understood that the high conversion rate to Islam is just an Islamic Myth not a fact!

If you mean Angelina Jolie, I find that highly unlikely.
Blood drinking, knife wielding, bisexual, and UN Goodwill Ambassador (man that woman is a walking contradiction!)I can see.
But she's closer to Buddhism than anything else.
God I'd love to psychoanalyze that woman!

I know at one time she was talking about adopting a Muslim orphan( from what I understand adopting an orphan is HIGHLY honored in Islam)but that's the only Islamic connection I am aware of.
Well that and her humanitarian work.
She did urge Thailand to accept Muslim refugees fleeing Myanmar.

Most of the men I know (there are some true good muslims) drink more than me, chase women constantly, treat them like animals, take drugs and so on.... I, as a westerner, am very shocked at their behaviour and actually quite sickened, this is the behaviour of the majority not the minority!!

Most of the Muslim women I have met here have propositioned me, offerd to cheat on their husbands, and drink and take drugs just as much as the men...

But at least everyone acts very pure in public.......

I just saw your reply so I am quoting very few of the verses from Al-Quran that says about peace, justice, love and equality. Quran is full of many verses which solely talk about humanity etc.

Fight against those who fight against you in the way of God, but do not transgress, for God does not love transgressors.

And if they incline to peace, so you must incline to it. And trust in God, for He hears and knows all.

I shall not lose sight of the labor of any of you who labors in My way, be it man or woman; each of you is equal to the other.

And eat up not one another’s property unjustly (in any illegal way e.g. stealing, robbing, deceiving, etc.), nor give bribery to the rulers (judges before presenting your cases) that you may knowingly eat up a part of the property of others sinfully. Sura Al-Baqara:188 (2:188)

It is not for a believer to kill a believer except (that it be) by mistake; and whosoever kills a believer by mistake, (it is ordained that) he must set free a believing slave and a compensation (blood-money, i.e. Diya) be given to the deceased’s family unless they remit it. If the deceased belonged to a people at war with you and he was a believer, the freeing of a believing slave (is prescribed); and if he belonged to a people with whom you have a treaty of mutual alliance, compensation (blood-money - Diya) must be paid to his family, and a believing slave must be freed. And who so finds this (the penance of freeing a slave) beyond his means, he must fast for two consecutive months in order to seek repentance from Allâh. And Allâh is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise. Sura An-Nisa:92 (4:92)

And (as for) the male thief and the female thief, cut off (from the wrist joint) their (right) hands as a recompense for that which they committed, a punishment by way of example from Allâh. And Allâh is All-Powerful, All-Wise. Sura Al-Ma'ida:38 (5:38)

And (O Muhammad), follow the revelation sent unto you, and be patient till Allâh gives judgement. And He is the Best of judges. Sura Yunus (Jonah):109 (10:109)

What does Islam define as murdering people? Is killing the Dutch cartoonist considered Jihad, or carrying out a fatwa? Though you may call this murder, there are plenty of Islamists who think it was not and is justified by the Quran.

If by Muslims in American custody you mean Guantanamo, then yes I think many people would have sympathy here. Holding people indefinately without trial in a civilian court or denying them legal representation, is not justice.

In Islam Jihad is a very noble act of spreading Islam it is a holy war against infidels. secondly Prophet Muhammd did jihad by dialogue in many cases. he only used weapon against non-believers when they caused harm to muslims. Jihad is never ever an act of killing people without any sound reason, in fact, it is a noble deed.

this is both spiritual and emotional harm and their is law that states that jihad against those people who are blasphemous is not only the duty of state but also individually. every Muslim has a duty to protect the honor of not only Muhammad (pbuh) but also of any other prophet of Allah.
secondly why non-Muslims are always mocking Islam and Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) this shows their insecurity and hostility. have you ever seen a muslim who disregrd or dis respect any other religion or their prophets. the answer is surely NO!

One wrong doesn't justify another one. That is the biggest problem with this kind of fundamental muslim thinking:  transferring one's grievance onto another act of evil and then justifying it. I have heard this countless times before: "we kill americans because they kill muslims in Palestine; suicide bombers kill innocent children and women because their own loved ones were killed in wars"...and so on. Look where this is leading the world today? Unending wars and bloodshed. Millions of innocent people caught in the middle!

And yes, holding any human being in custody without trial must be condemned too because it's a breach of human rights. If they were christians or jews who were mistreated, would you care? Is your sympathy exclusively for muslims or does it extend to all human beings, no matter what their belief is?

Taking life - harming anyone, anywhere is WRONG. Muslim/christian/whatever. Nothing can EVER justify it.

Till 9/11 you people never thought this way, always Muslims were killed without any reason in Kashmir, in Palestine, in Afghanistan. Today if one american is killed you are aggressive why it happened, have you any sympathy for the Muslims, No you don't have any. I do have sympathies for non-muslims too, but only if they are innocent. A man who makes fun of Islam is not innocent at all.

I'm confused gulnazahmad. You say you do not support such action, but elswhere in this thread you were asked "Is a cartoon of Muhamed considered emotional or spiritual harm?"

You said: "this is both spiritual and emotional harm and their is law that states that jihad against those people . . . is not only the duty of state but also individually"

But you also said: "Muhammd did jihad by dialogue in many cases. he only used weapon against non-believers when they caused harm to Muslims"

So are you saying that these things justify Jihad, but Jihad does not automatically mean violence? Are you saying that "war on infidels" can also be interpreted as a war of words in the form of discussion? If so, is this an accepted interpretation of Jihad within the Muslim community, or is it only held by a few?

If the above is incorrect, does that mean you think it IS acceptable to simply kill someone for making fun of Islam, Mohammed or Allah? Those questions aren't just for you, but for any Muslim who cares to reply.

You should place the correct phrase in order to bring forth the true meaning of your statement and it's relevance to your system of belief:

"Quran/Islam/Muhammad are peaceful and don't promote any violence; whenever they had to kill people it was very rational and was a moral act and there was no other alternative.

"Fight in the cause of God those who fight you, but do not transgress limits; for God loves not transgressors.

And slay them wherever ye catch them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out; for tumult and oppression are worse than slaughter; but fight them not at the Sacred Mosque, unless they (first) fight you there; but if they fight you, slay them. Such is the reward of those who suppress faith. But if they cease, God is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful. And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevails justice and faith in God; but if they cease, let there be no hostility except to those who practise oppression" (2:190-
              193).

Okay, that's not such a clear answer. Reading between the lines it sounds like this is not a commonly held interpretation.

I appreciate that you have your own belief within your own denomination, but it's helpful for those outside the Muslim community to understand what the most widely held interpretations are.

It may be the case that there is no one interpretation that is more widely held than another. Either way I would not take it as a reflection on your own denomination, if your interpretation was not widely held. Popular belief doesn't always equal true belief. I just wanted to learn something about commonly held Muslim beliefs.

            1) look I just want to tell you people that in Islam visual representation of any person is not allowed. One cannot draw picture of a living being especially human beings. in Islamic scriptures therefore Muhammad (peace be upon him) is always represented in the written words only. Allah himself is the best creator and he has created men and women beautifully no men can make better than Him.
            2) When even drawing the exact representation of a man is not allowed caricatures are far from being allowed. Muslims do not therefore draw pictures of any prophet, Christians draw Jesus but we do not draw him even. You can say that this is also because of respect.
            3) To Muslims Muhammad (p.b.u.h) is a man who is the best one in the whole world and till resurrection day no one can be born who can claim himself to be better than him.
            4)  I f any Muslim do something wrong it is not because of Muhammad or his teachings. He taught the best to men, he spoke only the best, he did always the best.
            5) as far as jihad with dialog is concerned yes, the way i am telling you people about Islam is also Jihad and this is not my interpretation of Islam but that from Quran. Jihad does not only mean holding weapon against anyone. And yes Muhammad himself preferred to talk to the non-Muslims before holding weapon against them. and if he did jihad with weapons it was only because those people did harm to Islam.

There is so much I can tell you people, in near future I will pot a hub on Islam and the common mis-interpretation and this one will be for all of you people who have seen Islam from the eye of western media and never understood the true essence of Islam. hope you will see it just to have more information.

Islamic society. It is horrible. Women cant drive, persecution abounds for those that does not practice the Islamic faith (just try to proclaim Christianity (or any other religion for that matter) in Saudi Arabia, Iran, etc.

The Hadith of course details Mohammed having sex with a nine year old girl. Besides as every Muslim knows, he was a molester.

    Narrated 'Abdur-Rahman bin Al-Aswad:

(on the authority of his father) 'Aisha said: "Whenever Allah's Apostle wanted to fondle anyone of us during her periods (menses), he used to order her to put on an Izar and start fondling her." 'Aisha added, "None of you could control his sexual desires as the Prophet could."

More info on this crazed individual can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Criticism_ … mmad#Aisha
