I just noticed that I have been upgraded from Prodigy to Expert.. I've been here for two months and only written twenty hubs!!

I still very much feel like a newbie; I'm pushing only 3,000 page views right now and have made almost enough to buy a couple cups of coffee at my favorite bagel shop.  But I also feel very at-home at HubPages.  I love the community here, from the forums to the encouragement I receive from other hubbers in fanmail and comments on my hubs.

So thanks, HubPages!  Hopefully you'll be seeing many more hubs from me!

I think when you hit 20, you go to that, I don't know if they use other criteria, but someone else told me they hit 20 yesterday and got to expert as well.  I have 19 so maybe I will be next.  Anyways, congrats, good job, hubber.

Yes, it's the 20 mark that makes you an Expert (but only if your hubber score is high enough, of course).

I think Hubpages should change his marks because at 20 hubs you're not expert, I would say rather at 100.

    From the FAQ
    HubScore
    # of Hubs     0-24     25-29     30-74     75-100
400 or more     Stop     Prolific     Elite     Hall of Fame
100 or more     Spammer     Producer     Very Good     All Star
20 or more     Rookie     Experienced     Good     Expert
19 or fewer     Novice     Junior     Average     Prodigy

so now you have the big jump from Expert to All Star!

    Very Kewl Helena!  Great job!
    Not sure what it means.

To me the experts are the ones making the cash. Producing content that makes the bank account go up.

And if you help a few people along the way Hey thats good also.

Congrats. I'm still a prodigy at 12 hubs and 4 weeks... I'm on my way. Is there anyone that's in the Hall of Fame?

Wow, thanks for all the positive replies!  See?  Community.

It'll be another 80 hubs before I'm an All Star (assuming my HubScore stays high enough!)... I like that we periodically get bumped up in status titles.  It gives us something to work for.  Good luck everyone else!

i have to agree w/ coolbreeze, I just made "expert" today and certainly don't feel like one yet....but I think it is the striving towards a goal, like you said Helena, that is most important....and community as well....
