Or at least, the most disturbing use of sound by a recording artist you've ever heard.  Let's see if you can beat me at my own game!  My pick is Throbbing Gristle's "Slug Bait - ICA", recorded in October 1976.  You can listen to it here, if you dare: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hl0mnmZzY9s

I'm looking forward to your submissions!

Once upon a time there was a tavern
Where we used to raise a glass or two
Remember how we laughed away the hours
And think of all the great things we would do

Those were the days, my friend
    We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
    We'd fight and never lose
For we were young and sure to have our way

Then the busy years went rushing by us
We lost our starry notions on the way
If by chance I'd see you in the tavern
We'd smile at one another and we'd say

Those were the days, my friend
    We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
    We'd fight and never lose
    Those were the days
Oh, yes, those were the days

Those were the days, my friend
    We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
    We'd fight and never lose
    Those were the days
Oh, yes, those were the days

Through the door there came familiar laughter
I saw your face and heard you call my name
Oh, my friend, we're older but no wiser
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same...

Those were the days, my friend
    We thought they'd never end
We'd sing and dance forever and a day
We'd live the life we choose
    We'd fight and never lose
    Those were the days
Oh, yes, those were the days

Not really that disturbing, but it's what came to my mind.

Nothing really compares to Slug Bait. Personally, I always found the music video Beautiful People by Marilyn Manson pretty disturbing, but not too disturbing- mostly because of how much he resembles Pee Wee Herman. But hey, it's the best I got. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ypkv0HeUvTc

If I sense "disturbing" might be showing up in a song I don't listen.  It keeps me from being unnecessarily disturbed.    smile  There's a couple of non-disturbing songs that I find disturbing for personal reasons.  I stay away from them too.   smile

I can't think of any songs in particular but any song with lots of screaming in it is quite disturbing to me.

I can probably think of lots of others but this is one I find particularly irritating.

    Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights.

    Yellow Submarine.

I've never liked the song and thought it was completely ridiculous(disturbing) that anyone would write the song to begin with.
