I've never been punched in the face in my life. I was just wondering if you have, how did it feel? Why do men like to fight and go through so much pain, because I imagine there's pain...???
I know there are women out there that have been punched as well, tell me the story and how you felt about that?
Yep.
Shock first.
Then pain.
I thought my nose was broken; went to ER; no break, and of course I was encouraged to place blame where it should've been placed, but being the naive young thing that I was then, I did not. Me and my kids paid a high price for his aggression (me physically and emotionally, the kids emotionally). But I finally later withdrew from all contact with that man. Thank God.
As far as men in general liking to fight, I don't understand why either, most of the time. Guess they have something to prove as men, since they are the protectors and defenders normally of a family.
Others may simply fight to show how tough they think they are. It's wild.
I'm so sorry about the abuse situation. I was in an abusive marriage for 15 years, mostly emotionally (three kids also emotionally abused) and he was physical at times but luckily he never punched me in the face. He choked me and pulled me across the house by my hair and things of that nature but he knew if he punched me in the face, everyone would know and he was too proud.
Again, I'm sorry about that. And yes, men are silly. I love them like crazy, but they're a tad mysterious:)
I think so in highschool and my glasses broke, it didn't hurt though. it was just upsetting. I didn't and don't know how to fight lol.
I had a girl slap me once when I told the person she was dating that I found out she was just using him.
I have been punched in the face, by one of my best friends. We are still very close to this day. It hurt, but at the time, I was intoxicated, and it didn't bother me so much. I was just angry and my heart rate was way up, so the pain wasn't at the top of my priority list.
The next morning was a different story! It hurt SO bad! I had a headache, I felt swollen and bruised. It was pretty bad, but I remember thinking, I have been through worse. Being punched is over pretty quick. I put myself through more intense and lasting pain everyday when I workout than any pain I've ever experienced from being in a fight.
Seems to be a mandatory rite of those who aren't home schooled... The nature of our species I guess...
Yes, several times as a younger man and had my nose broken causing me to have a deviated septum that is a problem for me but I have learned to live with it. .
I never have... maybe I need to get out there and start living more.
Best fight scene ever in a movie...

I was sucker punched once. I wish I had gone down with the first one, but it just dazed me so they laid two more on me before I fell. Lots of stitches. Learned my lesson about sucker punches though. Won't happen again.
Martial arts, boxing, street urchin, yep, I been punched in the face.
Yep Ditto...
+ Smashed my nose in a motorbike crash, kicked in the face by a horse I was training and got my nose broken and reset again after being ambushed by a partner's insecure ex and a couple of his mates who felt inadequate and got my jaw broken jumping out a plane a few years ago! It is not so pleasant, either talking through your teeth for 2 months or when your nose is reset and 'packed' with a mile of gauze... that eventually gets removed in the same manner that was used on mummies! We are lucky today... consider what our soldiers go through... a punch in the face would I'm sure be far more welcome than lost limbs!
Feels like your brain is being slowly pulled out of your head. Had it done twice, refused a third. I still have a deviated septum.
It's a good thing I've never been in a fight because I'd fight about as well as Mark from Ugly Betty, with the squealing and the kitty paws technique.

Yes, more times than I can remember... It never gets any easier or feels any less painful.
Sometimes it was because of sports but mostly it was due to self-defense situations that were unavoidable... Public schools where I grew up simply had initiation rites - the more a kid tried to avoid fighting the quicker it always seemed to find them.
For me it's always the same - Shock first, then pain, then anger, until finally the all important fight or flight decision comes to the fore...
I don't like to fight... never have... but in many situations trying to run away only causes a person to be tracked down like they're a dog - so I do when I have to.

It never happend with me as well, I also really want to know how they feels after that....!!!!

Have you ever been to a nude beach? If so, what was your motivation for going?Do you think that Americans are more modest when it comes to nudity than say, Europeans? Why or why not?

Just recently I was given the cold shoulder, for no apparent reason. I went to shake a ladies hand and she pulled her hand back and walked off. I had not been to the bathroom hehe and had never met this lady. She was one of the people in charge, for a tv commercial. I was only an extra. I thought...
