According to the sticky note about posting in the  Tech forum, this question does not qualify, but it seems technical in nature, so I'm stumped, and hoping this is the right place, instead.

When I was trying to look at hub stats, all it was showing me was the month.  When I tried to look at day, week, or 'all time,' I kept getting a dialog box reading,

"Something went wrong.  You might want to post this in the forums when you get a chance."

Well, I'm posting..and I have no clue as to where this post actually belongs.

P.S. Please pardon typos; I'm using my little notebook computer, and am not used to the keyboard spacing or feel....

Hi, Dzy! I was also getting the same message and I clicked 10 times or more so to read the message again and again. I thought, we can not see other period stats in that format. So, I left it.
So, it is everyone's problem and not only of me.

Liz, are you clicking on stats in specific hubs? I just tried one and it shows day, week, month, total. The time is 9:44 a.m. EST, Saturday August 29, 2015.

No, we are talking about the statistics for individual hubs, when you open a hub and then click stats button. The extension there shows you stats for your particular hub. But, it is showing only month's figure. There are options to view day, week, month and total. But those buttons are not working and the message pops in a small box over there to report the matter to technical department.

That's what I'm talking about. I opened one hub and clicked on stats. Everything was there. However, day, week, month, and total are not clickable. Are you saying they used to be?

I don't know whether they were previously clickable or not. Because, I came to know this feature only yesterday through Elsie Hagley post at this link:
            http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/132724
But the message flashes whenever you click to view the figures for week, day or all time.

Yes--that is the case, Shauna--they used to be clickable...and they still appear so, appearing as they do, in blue ...but instead of showing you those stats, you get the error message.

Oh, I see what you mean now. They're clickable under the Referrers tab, but that error message comes up when you click.

I was having the same problem yesterday and just tried it and I'm still having the same problem. On the referrers tab, when I go to "day", it gives me the error dialog box. I like the new setup for stats, except it doesn't work at the moment.

Yes, previously, they were buttons that lead you to a new page. Now the code has been simplified, all the info is on one page. You were getting error messages probably while the change was taking place. It's all good now.

No worries, less clicking to do.

Speaking of stats, they've dropped 5 days in a row. https://www.quantcast.com/hubpages.com?country=US

That might explain the big dip in my traffic. Any thoughts on what's going on?

Yes i've been noticing that. Traffic hasn't been looking too good lately.

Okay--well, this isn't a glitch, but it is related to stats..

I notice on the "metrics" section, most have a number, but the "incoming links" and "view duration" have asterisks, instead of numbers.

I am thinking that they must represent numbers, as there is a different number of asterisks next to each of those lines...and if so, why not just put the numbers???

I'm still getting the dialog box with the error message.

Yeah--it doesn't seem to be working from that 'referrals' tab anymore, however, as Sue Adams pointed out, all of that data is now on the front tab, so I guess they may be going to phase out the others... ???

That's good, I like that it all in one tab. But it would be good to know where that traffic is coming from in a single day, etc. Not necessary, I guess; there's always Analytics for that info.
