Is this a writer's site or not?

Every time someone starts a thread about the techniques of writing online it is pushed over to the topical forums where it is lost in Trump v Hilary stuff.

Given that the art of writing well is probably the most important topic on this site, why not give it a category in the Hubpages forums?

    It might be less neglected.

There's a forum on techniques of online writing? Interesting.

They shunt anything related to online writing to Books, Literature, and Writing.

        Where it rots, lol.

          Found it: http://hubpages.com/forum/26

Was concerned about there being a lot of spam. There isn't any (that I noticed) and I'd be okay with it being on the Hubpages Forums since it's got to do with writing.

I'd never look for my writing in anything called Books and Literature .... that's like putting my school drawings under Great Artists smile

I agree with all this too. I was always upset that anything I write about online writing has to go under Books, Literature, and Writing and I wish there were a top category for Online Writing.

It gets sent to the relevant topical forum.  If people don't respond, I assume they didn't find the post interesting.

If you are a newbie hubber, are you sure to pick out the one thread relevant to be being a hubber from the deluge of politics below?

If you cannot be bothered to read the list, I would not blame you, lol. But one thread is rather relevant to the business of this site.

Only one is irrelevant. The others have awesome social media traffic potential if written well and initially shared through to the right people.

These aren't hubs, they are threads on the topical forum. And they certainly aren't well-written.

Hahaha I do know that. I'm just being sarcastic. This isn't one of those threads with a real problem where I need to be serious smile

If you are being sarcastic about the wonders of clickbait and social media, it might be time to move over and join the oldsters, lol.

I guess HubPages doesn't realise how many writers never even look at the topical forums.

Sometimes, I fancy a bit of moralizing. But mostly, I try to avoid it, lol.
