   I watched him on the golf channel. He is close to being a fraud. He is worth less than a billion dollars. People have lost money in his investments finding out that he doesn't always back them but rather licenses his name. At least that is what I read in the news, although I cannot independently confirm their stories.
   
   And over 1/2 of the people don't want him for president.

         I actually like Trump.  I don't think he'll get the nomination, but he has a fight in him that most other candidates are sorely lacking.  He's a successful businessman (which puts him light years ahead of anybody else in DC), and is certainly not afraid of polls or opinion (as evidenced by his pressing the BC issue).
         
         My choice would be Herman Cain, although I don't think he'll get the nod either....

            I personally think Trump is a dishonest, morally bankrupt figure. There's no denying he's an excellent businessman, but the characteristics needed to be good at business are not the same as those needed to be a good President (in fact I would argue that sometimes they are very different).
            
            Obviously I'm going to disagree with many of the politics of any conservative politician, being a liberal, but it troubles me that someone like Trump could be considered a serious candidate by conservatives or liberals. At least when it was McCain vs Obama I could respect McCain, even if I disagreed with many of his policies.

            The R's are going to have to stand up and go with a Candidate of the people. If they don't like Trump, then convince Rubio to run. The conservatives want a fighter who's willing to grab hold of the purse strings and reign in spending. What they like about Trump is his big mouth. That's all. Palin had alot of the same apeal, of course she's not all that well spoken. Trump at least seems to know what tree to bark up and when to shut up.
            He's not yet running for President, but he is running against the President....He see's Obama as a huge threat to American business and financial success. Look at his history, he seems to have made all the mistakes!LOL  As far as stories about him being a cheat, keep this in mind, hard working honest business men and women are often broke and out of business. Some, scratch that, many believe that you "ain't trying if you ain't cheating". To each his own.
            The long and short of it is the D's have taken the tactic of throwing anything and everything at an R's candidate. The R's act like they are above it. Even if the R's try it, ala Clinton, the D's close ranks and stick up for their own. The R's don't. Throwing mud works well for the D's, that's why they use it.

                  He is a freshman Rep. Senator, supported by Tea Party, from Florida. He had expressed after the election that he has no interest in running for PResident. I'm not sure that has changed.

         All you have to do is watch headlines. Trump is like Palin in trying to grab headlines, and there is plenty of evidence of his very emotional outbursts (the bitch-fight between he and Rosey O'Donnell, for example) and his tumultuous ego-driven marriages, and so much more.
         
         He is incredibly insecure to have such a monstrous ego, and that's only evidence that he isn't comfortable being in his own skin. He's taken a lot of people down in his empire building. So why wouldn't he take America down to serve his own purposes?

               You see him as somehow philanthropic and "paying it forward?" Don't be silly. Name one person that he has helped and legitimately mentored. Just one. Not nepotism, not playing favorites, just actual mentoring and legitimately paying it forward. I'll bet there isn't anyone on that list.
               
               Additionally, I submit that he hasn't one original idea to contribute to the betterment of America. ALL his ideas are has-been, rehashed issues that others have already brought to light and refuted. He's not smart enough to be that original and that critical of a thinker.
               
               I'm not a fan of Mitt Romney, but he runs light years in distance and thinking around Trump.

Since the Clintons the party has been overtaken by liberal elitist. Trump worships at the alter of the almighty dollar, not mother earth or marx. It's matter of picking your poison.     1.    Major Media with Washington Post hiding the 11 YEAR OLD tape on Trump & Billy Bush’s bus based “ locker room talk” about attractive women fantasies – until 1 MONTH before the November 2016 election? 
    -    WAKE up people!  the “HIDING of this information until now by democrats was criminal and obvious evidence of Hillary/ the Democrat’s ILLEGAL control of most major media!
    -    (Don’t you think the anti-trump  republican’s would have found and used it many months earlier when deciding on a presidential candidate if the tape were not being hidden ILLEGALLY by democrat loyalists… that just happened to release it week’s before the election?)
    o    Why is this obvious and sleazy manipulation and withholding of 11 year old record of stupid guy talk data not itself being investigated by major media? 
    o    Maybe the hiding of this information and secrecy surrounding who made the tape and who shared it tot eh post for distribution is for same reason many are afraid to properly investigate or condemn Hillary’s personalized email scandal?
    o    If old data can be discussed by the media then what about the Bill & Hillary whitewater scandal the included the mysterious deaths and the April 1998 Star investigation  diverted by the Clinton / Lewinski sex scandal Jim Tucker and Susan McDougal  refused to cooperate with special investigator Starr and were both then pardoned by President Clinton? Hmm, 15 others potential less involved were convicted with over 40 crimes...Guys – most EVERYONE SUSPECTS the Clintons are CRIMINALS with ties to organized crime, major media & insurance, and ultra-rich, shady financial contributors)
    
    2.    Sexual hypocrisy between and about men and women exists. Deal with it. Anyway, for example every mayor in every city in America over the past 50+ years is almost Guaranteed to be GUILTY of criminal conspiracy with sex trafficking, prostitution and probably drugs. The “key” reason politicians run for local positions is to get a piece of the action. This reality applies to all parties, all genders and preferences. I have a friend with PROOF of this regarding strip clubs over the past 20 years in Houston Texas.   He shared the information at a bar one night calling out the way his lawyers work political contributions with the mayor, police unions, etc lawyers. He specifically noted that democrat female politicians in office were just as involved in the business as the republican men and included the bible thumper types. 
    a.    Most powerful men have said or done far worse than Trump’s silly, pre- political -11 year old lewd comments about women. He is right in stating that ALL other politicians are being ridiculously hypocritical.  At least Trump’s comments about certain women are not as disgraceful as say a siting president’s ACTIONS with a far less attractive woman named Monica.  Everyone KNOWS Hillary stayed married to Bill to improve her future political chances. Again – highly dishonest, manipulative and morally questionable behavior.
    
    b.    Let’s be honest about our society. Young women are trained in our society to be pretty & sexy. Lady’s make-up & perfume, fancy hair dos, high heels, jewelry, expensive purses, miniskirts, etc. are all cultural indicators of bias.  Look at the news commentators! More women than men now. What used to be inappropriate dress by women at work is rarely discussed now is rarely if ever brought up out of fear of special interest group retribution. Many men work in fear of women as false bad behavior accusations usually are just as effective as true ones. Women are simultaneously expected to run companies AND or stay home and raise kids while their husband work? Women used to be in a disadvantaged, unpowered political status. Now many enjoy an advantaged socio-political status over men. Men are trained to act and think differently.  Not being lewd about “hot” women can be embarrassing for a man when speaking with other men. We are simply in an odd transitional time in our society.
