I think it really depends on your sphere of influence...I've never heard of such extremism...left or right, until I became involved on the Hubpage forums.  wink.  I mean, you will occasionally hear of something, if Limbaugh, et al, does something really outrageous, but not this constant negative PR campaign.  As Pam Grundy said, its as if the president was a child molester or something.

Likewise for some of the extremist things that actually, the 'conservatives' on here claim the left espouse.  Mostly never heard of anything like any of that until now, from them.

And these little towns in AZ I'm talking about...some are really off the grid.  Snowflake, AZ...entirely Mormon, etc...

Did everyone here about Glenn Beck's interpretation of the art imagery at Rockefeller Center.  That was pretty funny!

Yes...lol....we were laughing about it today.  Matt says (and, lol, I'm sorry!) anybody who believed it has got to have the intelligence of a gnat.  SO silly!  Especially the anagram of...whatever (?) that was supposed to be.

Beck seems really obsessed with the supposed marijuana imagery lol.  TK keeps asking people if they smoke the pot, so maybe he is listening to Glenn to much.  He even came by my hubs today requesting why I did not post my hub on the forum lol.

God.  Yeah, he does listen to Fox.  Almost exclusively.  They all do.  That's why you find the same terms cropping up in their rhetoric.  "Shill," or "Socialist Shill," is another recent phrase.

      Gnats!  lol  It's embarrassing.

I really do not like Fox, but I have been doing a few experiments.  CNN, MSNBC, and Fox are all close together.  Of course when CNN and MSNBC were covering Obama's live speech to the AFL-CIO today, I noticed Fox was talking about Iran.  Fox did not even cover the speech as it was running live.

Well, that would be detrimental to their purpose, wink.

None of them are satisfactory.  I only watch CNN for actual event coverage.  Commentary is lacking...just 4-5 versions of spin there, too.  I read to get the actual idea of what is going on.

I'm pleased to know others who multi source their news, and believe little if any of it initially. I find the BBC and radio Australia pretty good for political reports on some things but not others.I catch up with radical radio stations to capture where some of the other stuff is sourced from too. American radical radio is a hoot! smile Some of the worlds most accidentally funny people! smile

And scary people!  Londongirl actually says the exact same things.  Calls Glenn Beck a "Rent A Gob," lol, whatever that is.

Yes, we listen to NPR, etc., and I mostly read different headlines as they pop up on Google all day long.  NPR is good, mainly, but sometimes too...I don't know, hell bent on their own seriousness.  One story they did I am thinking about is how there is a lack of land...or will be in the future, based off a New York Times story.  And people will take this as the gospel truth...  Although since moving out west, I can assure you there is sooo much wild, free, and arable/livable (define that, anyway, when considering cities like Phoenix) land still available.  Just i.e., as a sample of misconstrued truth.

          Anyway.  So, yeah.

          And good night, all, smile.

I like the BBC for some things also.  I have also looked at Google news alerts just to keep up on the basic things.  When it comes to local news ABC 7 website and station actually does the best job, as with the coverage of the fires and other events of the such.
