Getting 8 pack abs is not a child's play but nothing is impossible in this world and you can build 8 packs if you have the will and you know the right type of exercises to do. According to me, you can get 8 packs doing leg and knees raises, Roman chairs, heavy weights for large muscles, and an 8 pack diet. read more

8-pack?  Let's see -- exercise both the upper and lower abs with crunches and leg-raises.  That will give you six-pack abs.  Then get a couple of 6-packs of beer.  That will make eight.

8 pack abs are very, very rare.

You will need to sheer your body fat percentage to 5% at the most, which is very ill advised (even potentially dangerous!) unless you are a competition athlete. Even then, it is still dangerous.

Genetics also plays a major role.

it is all about what you eat! There are no exercises that will EVER make your abs show, it is all about having low BF (body fat).  For an 8 pack it needs to be pretty low probably sub 6%, but if you are looking to just have a 6 pack you can do that at sub 10%.  I was at about 8% when my abs were in full effect!

Not everyone can get an "8 pack." The way your abs look is a genetic thing and varies from person to person. Some guys are perfectly symmetrical while others are staggered. But most guys won't be able to get an 8 pack because their muscles aren't shaped in that way.

If you do have the definition to get those last 2, then they only way to bring it out is to keep your body fat really low. The only healthy way to do this is to exercise (lifting weights is best) and eat almost perfectly. All natural, whole foods and not overeating is the key.

Watch the exercise video on my Hub page an learn several Abs exercises that will work your abs without any special equipment or exercise machines. All you need is the floor and your body to do the video Abs exercises.

In your abs diet ...Eating fruits can result in considerable reduction in fat to your body. Reduce the intake of saturated oils and foods bearing trans fat is an excellent fat burning technique to flatten and firm your abs.

Go running. The fastest and easiest way to get great abs is to go running. Start small. Run around the block. Run 3-4 times a week for 30 minutes to an hour. Running exercises nearly all of your muscles and burns calories. With stronger legs and a stronger core, your abs will benefit.

Eat a lot of vegetables. Don't try some silly all liquid diet or no carbohydrate diet. These diets only help you lose weight on a very short term basis. Eat more chicken and seafood and less red meat. Don't smoke. Drink less booze. Drink a lot of water.

It takes some serious dedication to the goal #1 and the rest goes like this.. Find a low fat diet that you are comfortable with and include in that diet things like, eggs, apples and broccoli. All are fat burners. Proteins such as fish, and other lean meats and as always vegetables like broccoli. "Get your protein to build muscle where you want it."  Swimming is excellant for the abs, sit ups are a must but dont over do it, as its usually the case with many. Best way to do situps is research the most affective way and go with that. The only way to get cut abs is to do the same thing that people who have ripped abs do and that is to actually "Do those things" for a period of time, long enough to reach your goal and you already know what your goal is you just need to prepare a way for yourself to make it happen and do it, it will happen for you. Hope it helps some, Lanea

You can train your abs and get ripped. But if you have a layer of fat over them, no one will ever see the 8 pack abs you worked so hard for. Your diet is also a part of any exercise program. Without proper nutrition, you will not achieve the results you want. Eat less fat and carbs. Do not cut out the carbs, just eat the "good" ones. Eat plenty of protein. Remeber, you do not want to get too small (BMI less than 8 or 9). Do this along with a exercise dvd you can do at home or on your own schedule. Health and fitness always go together. You cannot have one without the other.
