As An Illegal Immigrant In United States, Will They Provide Me With Health Care?

Unfortunately, probably yes.  The hospitals and emergency rooms, paid for by CITIZENS, are full of illegal ALIENS (not immigrants), crowding out the CITIZENS.

as long as politicians let them. i heard from a reliable source that a law was passed in 1996 that makes it illegal to give non-citizens any benefits or monies. but will still give an average of $21,000 a year to each illegal. at 20 million people that figures just shy of 1/2 a trillion dollars. yet our seniors and disabled are getting their benefits cut. the monies paid out to these people comes from social security funds. if we all pressure the government into abiding by the law and stop paying these people, that would fix social security and our seniors and disabled would not have such a hard time to survive. call your reps and tell them what you want and stop punishing our border patrol and servicemen for doing their jobs.

Who is "They"... ultimately "They" becomes "US" when it comes to funding health care.  So the real question is will the United States Government let the people of the United States decide what kind of Health Care System will be put into place.

It is illegal to deny help to anyone who walks into an Emergency Room.  And ultimately the costs of care that is not paid for gets passed along to the consumer.

People need to turn their anger away from the Illegal Aliens - they are doing exactly what you would do in their situation.  You should turn your anger at a system of Government that allows for these kinds of problems to occur in the first place.

The question raises two aspects. One concerning the policy of the government that may be either right or wrong but one must follow and obey the rules of the State. Every law abiding citizen should obey the policy of Insurance. The other aspect lies in the sense humanity. It is above money and policy. The only aim is to help the victim in the fight against life.

Who is they??  If I read between the lines I guess what's being asked is should illegals get free health care?  No, unless it's a life threatening situation.

Isn't this robbing someone's money? It's robbing! I am a Canadian, but still no one has the right to steal other country's citizens' money...

Whoever stole from others are immoral. The world will become a better place if people do abide to the law and don't force others to give them benefit through any illegal means.

Having said that, if you are in the life threatening situation then of course you should be helped, but I think they should immediately deport your back to where you came from after you get well.

Health care?  Sure. And more.  Here is a copy and paste job that tells it all.

According to the new legislation, illegal immigrants are unable to participate in the health insurance exchange.  The exchange doesn't provide people with insurance, its intent is to drive down costs by opening up the market.  Until the exchange is up and running, you are able to purchase your own insurance.  Most, if not all, insurance companies will be part of the exchange, so if you are an illegal immigrant, you will not be able to purchase insurance.  However, emergency rooms are not allowed to turn anybody away.

Unfortunately, if you walk into the hospital and receive care and then can't pay for it, you probably will get it. You and others who come here illegally and get what I, as an American citizen, can't get. And then you wonder why Americans want you gone. Go home and get your health care or die. I don't care which.

Yes..... You would get emergency care without question.  If you require medical care above what is necessary to keep you alive, you will have to pay for services rendered.

Although there are those who would like you to be able to get free medical care across the board, this is not the case yet, nor should it be.

As a Paramedic, if I have an illegal in the back of my ambulance, I don't care if he has a green card or not.  If he is in need of emergency care, he gets it.  But anything above that shouldn't happen.
