Hello my name is Melissa.  In some circles I am known as Mdgshorty and others I go by Trekkieandrea or Trekkiemelissa.

I also love Star Trek and used to be addicted to star trek simming.  With the writing of articles online, that addiction has gone away and now I am addicted to writing articles online.  I like to write about technology when I can.  I believe that I know quite a bit when it comes to technology.  I also write for Squidoo where I am both a giant and a Citizen squid.  There I write about anything from technology to music and movies.  My favorite lens that I made over there is  HTML and CSS. Here at hubpages, I write about anything that is technology related and if there is a request that interests me, I will try to write a request.
