Writing has always been an interesting subject to me. Growing up, when I was asked what is your favorite subject, my answer was different from other peers. "American Literature" or English is my favorite subject. I have met several people who are not interested in writing. It is surprising to me how many people who love to talk, don't like to write.

My love for writing was first recognized when I placed second in a "When I grow up" essay contest. Although being disappointed in not getting the first place prize of a college scholarship, I was very proud of myself for placing second. I was also very shocked thinking "wow I didn't even try to win". Out of the whole elementary school, I look back and realize that I do have a talent and a passion to write. It took me this long to figure it out.

I am 28 years old and I have decided to take a more serious approach to my writing. I have been employed for several different career options and I haven't yet found my niche. I was a cashier for several years while I completed my college computer classes. I then believed I should try a career in teaching. Since I completed several advanced child development classes. I was a preschool teacher and owner of a daycare for about three years. Later, I became a home-care provider where I cared for the seniors and people with disabilities.

I am now presently a part-time care giver, enthusiast webmaster and online article writer. I enjoy sharing my stories and knowledge with the public. When I was referred to Helium, Hubpages, ehow and other writing sites, I considered it an opportunity to write and share my knowledge to help others in need of useful information. I enjoy writing about topics that is related to me or my family.
