I have lived in Europe and, even though born in Canada, only recently moved to my "mother-country", if you will. In my 16 years outside of the country, I became fluent in Portuguese and have enough knowledge of the Spanish language to maintain a short-term conversation with Spanish natives.

Writing has always been one of my big passions (being the others sociology and forensic psychology). However, I split myself apart from the writing world for a short time, for daily-life reasons.

Most recently I've partnered with a very innovative artist, and opened a gallery business that has shown to be very interesting and profitable, not just economically. Meanwhile, I am raising a little girl and attending university, all of which fills up my life quite a lot, and yet lets to acknowledge the power I have, as a human being, mother and a woman, to accomplish much more than I ever thought I would or could.

Moreover, I love to write about arts, social topics of all kinds, shapes and figures, and interesting random (now one knows kind of thing) topics. One of the things I love about the writing world is the research and the learning process behind every piece composed. Does not matter the size, big or small, 500 or 2000 words, every single piece requires learning, whether emotional or more superficial.
