Can Rape be Possible in Marrage

No agreement, marriage or otherwise, should take away a person's right of ownership over their own body. No means no and your partner can whine and cry and beg, but they cannot take what is not theirs. keep reading →

Yes rape does occur in marriage. Much more often than reported, no doubt. The victim should be able to press charges against the spouse under domestic violence laws. Unfortunately, many states, towns and cities are still not very cooperative with organizations like Battered Women. Like any rape trial, the victim is usually made out like the villian.

I wasnt married but the situation occured and i honestly thought it was my own fault. I was going through a seriously violent relationship and i thought that no one else would want me. I was told i was dirty and disgusting and soiled and that no one would ever touch me. I ended up having a nervous breakdown and was helped to get out of the relationship by my parents. I trully thought no one would believe me. Only a handful of people know the truth. I still couldnt take him to court or get him charged. Apart from the fact it was 9 years ago, i still feel no one would ever believe me.

What is the difference of marriage and rape? A marriage is an agreement for consensual sexual intercourse while rape is a non-consensual inter course. If rape is committed by physical force, it is punishable under the law of court.

Yes it is possible for a female to be convicted of rape, as well as a man. Most people who study this anomoly believe rape is a crime of violence and not a crime of passion.

No one wants someone entereing their private space without mutual accent. But if push comes to shove, it is well to know the law. Who wants to be in someone else's space anyway, regardless of what it is called.?

There is this myth that a man or most men will go for any woman available. That is a myth and absolutely not true. Maybe an alcoholic who is blind drunk.

But there are unattractive males and females that are totally gross and unattractive in any way to the opposite sex. I don't count among those the ones that are mannered, well dressed and well spoken. Sometimes, people are attractive but not necessarily in the so called good looking box.
