How do you feel when someone 'BLABS' your secrets?  Do you get mad or sad?  Or, do you get even?

When you betray a confidence, you can rest assured that you will ...reap what you have sown.  What goes around will sure enough come around.

Trust that your dispectable behavior will come back and bite you in the butt...

How do you feel when someone 'BLABS' your secrets?  Do you get mad?  Do you become sad?  Or, do you just get even and be done?

I've had that happen to me before. But I play it cool in such a way people would think that "friend" was actually inventing a rumour. If you show that you're sad or upset about it people might put more attention to the situation and cause more damage.

I really wouldn't get even, because I'm the bigger person and I don't want to lower myself by doing something so mean. Like I said I'd just pretend I didn't know she/he said anything to anyone and If someone asks me I'd just play it cool and brush it off by saying something like "people would say anything to get attention" or something similar just to avoid the embarrassment, trouble, etc.

I get even or ignore. There is no point in welcoming them back because the same thing will just happen again.

I tend to only tell things that wouldn't be devastating if revealed.  Those I keep tight.  I think you also know your friends and family enough to know which ones are blabber mouths and which are trustworthy.  I have a sister-in-law that tells my husband and I things that she just needs to tell someone, but doesn't want the whole world or family to know.  She knows that we will keep it to ourselves and we always do!

Not very good secrets are they, if someone knows them.

I have also had that happen to me so I know how annoying it is. I just kinda ignore it and move on and never talk to that person who told my secret again. If it was my "best friend" I would just tell her that I will still be your friend but I will no longer tell you anything private. We would no longer be that close as we once were again because of her blabbing about the personal things I told her.

Sharing secrets with our friends is like being a part of the YA-YA sisterhood. You are sworn to secrecy and promise not to say a word. You share your weaknesses, relationship woes, fears ad are confident they will not use them against you. Not sharing secrets makes the bond between both of you a life-long commitment read more

A secret is exactly what it is, and should be kept that way.  There is no reason why anyone should feel the need to share something they consider their achilles heel with anyone, unless you truly ttrust them.  Keep your intimates to yourself, there really is no need for you to get mad, I can understand your anger, just learn from the experience and move on.  Leave that despicable individual alone.  Tit for tat is Wack!

I get very mad and sad too that the person I trusted betrayed my trust. If you can't trust a person then I believe it's better to not keep close contact.

I only get mad if it's a huge secret that they know they shouldn't have told. If they apologize then I'll probably let it go but if it happens more than once then no.

I own all that I do,so if someone tells and it's the truth,it is what it is.

I've had people lie on me,starts untrue rumors and that's not cool.

Now what would blabbing be,like telling on a girl's trip she met a guy and slept with him on the beach the first night. No,I'd never blab that! lol
