Men do you like a woman with long hair or short and sassy, and can women with shaved  heads be sexy?

Since no men seem to be responding, I'll let you know that all the men I've met love long hair. They like to run their fingers through the long hair and caress it. I think it's the mental picture of long hair falling over bare breasts that turns them on. Shorter hair, depending on the cut can be seen as kinky and again it depends on the woman's appearance as to how attractive she is. As for shaven heads, to me only the lovely actress above could pull it off and I do believe most men would detest it. Let's see if we get any responses.

I think your right about the long hair and hopefully some men will respond.  I   don't think anyone could say honestly that she's not gorgeous or sexy, but I don't think to many women can pull it off. I didn't even think it looked good on Brittney S.

I still think it's personal, one of my buddies dislikes long hair, he thinks its scarey! I disagree with him. And, hey, I'm a guy.

If it's long hair with lots of tangles and hair spray, I agree with your friend.

Yes its just a matter of knowing how to pull it off. Not all women can pull that look off.

As Garifalia says....Most men prefer long hair because it can make a woman so much more sensual.

Short hair or shaved heads can be quite sexy too but there are very few women who can really pull this off. I agree with Soconfident on this.

Long hair though needs to be long and healthy. Women who don't feel like combing their hair, wearing it elegantly or waiting too long to dye their hair again, look far from sensual or sexy.

It's about the complete picture of someone who takes care of herself.

I think the attractiveness depends not only on what, but mostly on how.

Long hair versus short hair is an abstract.  What kind of hair?  Not all long hair would be attractive - some women do not have heavy hair (or straight enough for that matter, or thick enough) therefore in the long version - long hair looks like a mess to take care of.  Of course, it is preferable to wear them short.

You have to think about the type of face you have as well.  And as far as baldness goes - I find it sexy in a woman, because to me having long hair is more commonplace and conservative, feeding to the demands of a man...

A bald woman is almost always a bold woman - it spells courage and there is nothing sexier than self-confidence.

I can't pull off a shaven head - for a reason - I don't have a perfect skull - when it comes down to details...

But in my experience - men react to energy, personality and they don't even know themselves what drew them in - beauty is secondary, personality is everything.

If you have the courage to be bald and bold, you have a very good chance of finding a man who is not afraid of a strong woman by his side.  Hair unlike teeth grow back.  Courage is harder to foster than a hairstyle.

I find the same rule goes for women (or is it just me?) - I prefer a bold man rather than...

Loved your answer and I prefer a bold man with short hair and an open facial expression.

I agree with kallini2010. There isn't really one answer to this, because it depends on the individual. Some women look better with long hair, some with short hair. It depends on the person and whether or not it fits her style or not.

having what kind of hair length will always depend on how a woman presents it to the public. anyone woman can have a short, long or even shave hair as long as it will be in style with what he or she wears.

just a point from me ^_^

Hi, my personal opinion (being a male), is that whatever hair length a women wants for herself, she should do it.  If a man/her man, loves her it shouldn't matter.  I think in our society, we are used to seeing shaved/bald heads associated with men, and therefore many men might on first glance think she less attractive than if she has long hair.

I'm personally not crazy about shaved heads on all women, seems like certain women can pull it off better than others, just like all hair styles though, for women and men.

Your right if he loves her it shouldn't matter and society does play a big role in style from hair. to makeup and clothes.

I like women, period. I've had girlfriends with all sorts of hair/ hairdoes.  I was in a longer relationship with a blond girl with long hair and now I'm definitely enchanted with a girl with short black hair. In the end hairdoes are not important for me.

Real beauty transcends hair. I'd generally say I like long haired women but that wouldn't be true, as what makes a woman beautiful to my eyes is not her hair, rather her face and how the hair she has contributes to the whole image of her (not just the face: let's not forget the body).
The same hairstyle could make a certain woman beautiful while giving a mediocre look to another one which is instead beautiful with another hairstyle that doesn't fit the first one.
Some women though, seem to be even above those considerations. Natalie Portman portrayed above is a limpid example of it: she's absolutely gorgeous whatever hairstyle you may put or imagine on her.

There will always be at least one styling of hair that will fit a woman better than others. Some look better with their hair up, some with their hair down, and some with no hair at all. Some are lucky enough to look fabulous any way their hair is. Yes, a woman with a shaved head can be extremely sexy, from a male's point of view. Not everybody, of course, but some, definitely yes. I prefer long dark hair to anything else, and curly over straight. I didn't deliberately make that choice, it's just what attracts me. But on occasion, I can't help noticing a woman with short hair who looks extremely good, so I guess the rule is : there's no rule  .

Long hairs or Bald ? It doesn't even matter , what matters is how that particular style looks at you , i can give you many examples where a girl with normal hairs used to look just okay but as she shaved her head she become attractive . Well i for one have long hairs(not that long actually) and i am a male but it suits me smile

I'm bald by choice every now and then. I love being bald, especially when it is hot and humid like this summer here in Germany. Short hair is convinient if you are doing lots of sports like me, but I find the bald look for me is the best

Her body has to be very appealing for the short hair on her head to be acceptable.
If short hair / shaved heads was ever socially attractive, cutting a woman's hair or leaving her bald wouldn't have been a standard punishment around the world - or in the case of grieving widows, something they did to themselves to make men want to avoid them while grieving the death of a husband.
