Affluent/educated parents out there, what dating, relationship, & marriage advic

   Affluent/educated parents out there, what dating, relationship, & marriage advice would you give to
   
   your children?  Would you always advise them to only date, enter into a relationship with, &/or marry a person of the same or higher educational & socioeconomic background?  Would you further advice that it would be a grave mistake to even consider dating, entering into a relationship with, &/or marry a person of with less education or a lower socioeconomic background?

   Affluent/educated parents are smart & savvy.  They know the importance of smart dating, relating, & mating.  They know that dating,  relating, & mating are businesses.  They impart to their children the importance of dating, relating, &/or marrying persons of similar &/or better socioeconomic & educational backgrounds.  They furthermore realize that people w/similar & better backgrounds will have more of commonality.  Furthermore people of similar &/or better backgrounds can help each other advance educationally & career-wise as a result of their educational & socioeconomic background.
   
   Affluent/educated parents realize that it is detrimental, even destructive for their children to date, relate, &/or marry someone of a lower educational & socioeconomic background.  They know that if their children enter into such relationships, their futures would be imperiled as those from lower educational & socioeconomic backgrounds would influence them not to have high educational & socioeconomic goals.  They feel that their less educated & poorer dates, companions, significant others & spouses would tell them to settle for educational & socioeconomic crumbs.  They also contend that the latter will be jealous of their children & will use all types of sabotage to bring their children to the latter's lower class lifestyle.  In essence, nothing good will ever come out of their children dating, relating, &/or marrying people from a lower educational & socioeconomic background.
