When will we as men reclaim our...

......responsibilities as husbands , fathers and men, when it comes to the failures of the last generation or two . Broken marriages , single moms , with boys with no souls to guide them?  Young daughters wih no guardian in their lives? Man has to grab himself by the belt and redraw his own better standards of behaviour. Untill the American man does this, our culture remains soulless and lost in the journey of life

That is a bold question I should say. I think it is the options thing that we have, if not this then try that attitude.
Never patient enough to wait and work things out.
Escapism has become the way of life as has instant solutions.
I am happy that people are asking... where are the men!
I am no man yet, I should say time we asked the question.

A good start would be to read Iron John by Robert Bly.
Take responsibility for your life and duties.
Recognise that there is a world of difference between Men/Man and male/s, stop using the term, male/s; stop referring to yourself as male, unless that is the only word to use in the context.
Likewise, it is worth remembering there is a world of difference between Women/Woman and female/s and the same comments apply.
Stop using the word guy/guys instead of Man/Men.  Use the term, Mankind, the term, humankind still contains the dreaded M word.  And never, ever, use person/s unless that is the only word to use in the context.
Don't cow-tow to the politically correct.
Don't use the singular, their?  and if you feel you have to succumb to this nonsense, rejig your sentence so that it becomes plural.

well men and women have to work on this together.  Part of the problem is women and I am not pointing the finger I am saying that the moral compass throughout history has always gone back to the woman.  Today women ask men out on dates, they are readly avaliable for sex, they give it away to easy.  this makes men stop being men.  Men need to court a woman, have a challange, a women needs to demand respect from men.  In one of my article I wrote about a man opening a door for a woman and how these simple respectful acts of manhood and being a gentelman have become blurred.  A woman should wait for the man to open the door and then thank him out of respect for herself.  well I could go on and on about this but I think that you get my point.
