My husband worked as he has to every holiday and I can't even remember what I ate. lol  I did make some celery smoothies that were good. We celebrate holidays either the day before or the one after usually, Christmas though he usually has to work the Eve and Day.

It was emotional. I take Easter very seriously. It's a time when we should all consider how empty and meaningless our lives would be if it wasn't for the miracle of Easter...

Chocolate Easter bunnies laying chocolate easter eggs!  Now THAT'S a miracle.

I had a great Easter! I spent the time with my family and witnessed them making their sacraments at the Vigil Mass at the church. In fact, I wrote a Hub about my experience. If you are interested, here's the link: http://hubpages.com/hub/The-Best-Easter-I-Ever-Had

    Thanks for asking this question!

The BEST!  Spent the weekend visiting family, playing with grandkids, enjoying the company of my two daughters, going to church, participating in an Easter Egg hunt, enjoying a huge family meal, and sharing time together  smile

A little bit boring and dull. Sat all weekend with no load near Syracuse, NY. Nowhere to go and it rained most of the time. Oh well, welcome to the trucking industry.

It was OK my sister threw a brunch celebration that I assisted with. I refer to Easter as "stolen bones day" ...Just makes a lot more sense to me than the other possibility.

I spent Easter Sunday with one of my sister who lives close by. She has three children, and a nephew who lives with her. From my household my son and his family of 7 came to dinner also. My other son's girlfriend and children were down, that is 4 more kids. Altogether we had 10 children present and numerous relatives present enjoying Turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, sweet yam, salad, beans and butterscotch pie, coconut pie. We had a glorious time.

All that was missing this Easter was our mother who passed away April 12th.

My Easter was lovely, I was just getting over a cold. So I stayed indoors and just relaxed. How was your Easter?
