Why do some people make it their "life mission" to hate on you no matter how humble you are?

This has been happening since the beginning of time, but I would like to have some input from my fellow and lady Hubbers.  Why is it that people can see or hear that something wonderful has happened for you and they will make it their "life mission" to either ruin your blessing or try and take it away altogether?  Why?

People with no humility cannot accept that there is any good in others or that others deserve any good. They only see their own situation, from their own point of view, filtered by how it affects them, so everything else is worth less. And yet at some point, one needs to question the self-esteem of someone who feels the need to tear everyone and everythign else down in order to feel as if they remain elevated. Such people deserve pity, for they are pitiable indeed.

jealous, selfishness, greed, hate, Things not of God. Just pray for them and put it in Gods hands. He is the only one that knows the true answer ,for each one of us is different in his or her own way.

My opinion is it is some person common tendencies to feel jealous of somebody achievement.but one should never be worried about it.Remember when somebody is trying  to pull you down, you are definitely ahead of them.

Many people, sadly, live entrenched in misery and denial. They may say they're fine, but they're miserable about their own issues and lives. When we come to this place, our only healing is to face our own issues, and that is so painful it is almost impossible.

So, living in misery and not dealing with their own lives, people then tear down what is good for others, Or they try to steal it.

First, know that any of us can fall into this place. So let us not judge them, or we will become just like them. This is not about "bad" people. This is about a sad part of human nature - confusion, denial, and envy.

Second, if we can, simply step away from such people. (That's hard in two ways. If they are family, it's a real challenge. But also, we need to check: are we independent? Or are we staying involved with people who want to hurt us?)

If we can't step away, then pity and patience are good options. In 10,000 years or so, people like this are likely to be very loving. Give them time to learn their lessons.

And commit, each day, to creating our success, enjoying our success, and sharing success with those who create and appreciate it with us.

these people are weak. it's that simple and they pick on others who don't fight back either with words or fists. they have nothing going for them mentally so they try to take others down to make up for how insecure they are inside.

They're simply JEALOUS! That's all I can say. You can't change them.

So, just ignore them and carry on with your life.

Many reasons . . . sometimes people project their own failures on others so that they don't take any responsibility. When you succeed, it only reminds them of their own failures which they don't want to face.

Envy is a base emotion and also key reason why some hate. Envy says, "I want what you have!" "What I have is not good". Envy keeps people unfulfilled and seriously damages their self image by focusing on what others have.

We cannot escape the envious, but we can make it our mission to pursue our dreams knowing we are fulfilling our life purposes, and we don't have to please anyone other than God.

Some people try again & again to draw the beauty of the flower, others - who fail to draw it from first time - will draw a desert.
I hope this answer your question.

there are a lot of people who have no life and want to destroy those who has one. Don't allow anyone to put you down, if this is a person who can't celebrate your success then don't share your greatness with them. We live in a world of haters and I always say let your haters be your motivators.

Because some people are just haters. Plain and simple. The sad part is they never seem to realize it. To them, they're right and everybody else is wrong. People like that are pathetic and not worth anyone's time because they are incapable of changing.

When people hate you without any reason, the answer is very simple, they are plain jealous of you. It is always better to stay away from such people.
