How much faith do you think Jesus had during His ministry?

How much faith is true faith. Jesus said in a number of time in the gospels " Oh, you of little faith." So, is complete faith the total lack of doubt?

all that is humanly possible to possess. (He was human at that time so was limited)
and that amount is possible for us to possess also.    for the 2nd part  i am not sure being human there may be room for a little doubt, but for me, when I know it is from God for sure, there is no doubt.  I  do things at His direction  that make no sense to my natural senses , in fact sometimes look ridiculous,  but the result is an amazing miracle every time.
so on 2nd thought it seems that the only doubt may be in being sure it is from Him.

celafore-I would suspect that  Jesus would have to determine just how He saw Himself. As just a man or as a man who is the Son of God. And we also must take into account that He had the Holy Spirit within Him. This needs to be concidered. Thanks.

grace --the bible says He was a man, born as we are.  the term He used to describe Himself so many times  "son of Man " literally means a human being. so i believe it says he was like us in thoughts but sinless

Celafore- I completely agree with you. I was only adding to the point  that as He must have realized His position as the Son Of God which would, I believe, remove doubt. I must state there is nothing in scriptrue to support this. It's only my opinion

It the Bible we learn that it only takes faith the size of a mustard seed to move a mountain into the sea. Its not a matter of how much faith Jesus had, its how much unbelief he didn't have. Faith only doesn't work when unbelief is present.

If we not doubt then we make no choices. If we are human we doubt. Christ was made human. There He was praying, suggesting to His father to take the cup from Him. I just say thank you Jesus, for having doubt and showing me how to overcome it.
There can be no faith without doubt. God wired us just perfectly. Not so that we do not doubt, but so we choose to believe. No man is brave without fear, no Christian is complete without doubt.

asking His father to take the cup is doubt?, how does that qualify that doubt?     No man is brave without fear?   .  explain

Eric- this is one case where I would have a very hard time accepting the idea that Jesus had doubt in His faith. But what I do wonder is, in the absense of doubt, how much is complete faith? Many thans eric.

My friends, we are blessed to have Christ as a brother not just a Lord. He is our perfect friend.
Tough times came and He talked to Pappy. He said whoa, help me out here. I doubt that I am strong enough to do your will. Pappy answered Him.

Yes. Complete faith comes from the spiritual heart, and doubt comes from the mind. A God-man such as The Christ had not only tremendous faith but incredible spiritual ability. He was at one with God's Will. In that state, everything is natural and spontaneous. It goes without saying that only souls who are close and dear to God can have this kind of faith

manatita44- As I had also mention to celafoe, no matter what the amount of faith Jesus had, He was amazing. And wish I had His full understanding of faith. Many thanks manatita for your answer too.

      Graceinus.
He was also good. Greatness or amazement, is no match for goodness. He was sanctioned from Above with an eternally blissful life, and brought down compassion, grace, forgiveness, love ... These are the lessons to us.

The teaching about the faith  only applied to us, let us not try to perceived Gods' word by using our intellectual perception because no matter how intelligent we are, Gods' thought is not our thoughts, His way is far better than our ways.
God the son took on human flesh, though he was God, He added flesh without subtractions His deity nature. Two nature united in one person. "For Christ the fullness of God lives in human body."- Colossians - 2:9 "In Him the fullness of God and the fullness of man." Fullness of deity - God himself fully manifested, Bodily form - He possessed flesh and bone, true human.
Faith is being sUre of what we hOpe for....
And cErtain of what we do not sEe. GOD bless everyone!
