I think it has to be Istanbul because its simply magical, out of a picture book
Though I am not a fan of most cities, I'd have to go to my hometown city of Buffalo, NY. In Buffalo you can experience all four seasons and especially winter for the cold-minded like me. Buffalo has a great arts community, fantastic architecture, good access to the outdoors, and of course the best food on the planet.
I am of course biased towards the city in which I live: Sydney, Australia.
I haven't lived in a lot of cities, but I will mention those I have, and some of those I've visited. London, UK. Port Said and Suez, Egypt, Aden in Yeman, Columbo, Sri Lanka. Also Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane in Australia. Auckland and Wellington in New Zealand. So, you can see, I haven't visited any of the reputably great cities of the USA, Europe, Asia or South America.
I have not counted all those smaller places which technically classify as cities, for examples such as Ballarat, Bendigo, Tamworth, et cetera in Australia, or Nelson in New Zealand. Some of these are terrrific places in which to live.
Still I stand by my choice of my own home city, Sydney. It has been rated more than once among the top two or three places in the world as 'the best place to live,' and I believe this is true.
Definitely Paris! It has great history, food, shopping, museums, architecture. It is an amazing city
Is Negril, Jamaica considered a city? If so, it's my favorite..especially the beach!
Hard to be definite, but these must vie for the position:
Monaco Town: on the Rock, the seat of government for the Mediterranean Principality with such a rich history;
Cambridge, England: for its historic colleges and religious history and deep sense of learning;
Luxembourg City, the scenic and historic capital of a fascinating Grand Duchy;
Geneva, Switzerland: for its lakeside location, historic and religious associations, beautiful buildings and sheer cleanliness;
(Brussels, Belgium; Basel, Switzerland; Luebeck, Germany; and Gothenburg, Sweden, too...)
Prague, Czech Republic! History, art, culture, wonderful people, beautiful city. I love it!
Tallinn, Estonia. An unexpected gem in eastern Europe. Great food, crazy beautiful beautiful language(s), interesting history.
Every city is my favorite, because every city have their some specialties..
My list is changing as I travel more. But the cities in this list are some of my favourites! http://liliansg.hubpages.com/hub/Top-5- … avelled-To

What is your favorite and least favorite city in the world?

For me, it's a toss up between New York and San Francisco. I love the older type cities built for walking, with real neighborhoods, and small open markets. I loathe places like Phoenix which are nothing but ugly highways and big box stores. Yuck. Plastic.

What have been the most dynamic, intriguing cities you've visited?IMHO it seems to depend on the size of the city (most of all) but also the extent to which there's a fusion of cultures (i.e. Los Angeles is a lot more interesting than Phoenix). But some of the cities I'd add to this list, like...

Why do Democrats seem to like their cities being burned, looted and having riots? In the most recent burning, looting and rioting, Democrat mayors and even governors seemed to not only refuse to end the riots, they participated with the rioters. Is this what Democrats call...
