I could write 7 hubs on this!

It is this simple, when you put academics aside.....

God created Adam as the head of the household.  Adam failed to PROTECT Eve...........she succumbed to temptation, he followed and then HE  blamed her.  Women have been paying the price ever since.

Women fill the shoes of the men, because the men shriek their responsibilties.

I could write volumes based on my personal experiences as a mother and wife.

Women assume the role of men, BECAUSE the men fail to do so.

If you invite a frend to stay in your home and you tell them not to touch a certain item while you are away, and they do touch it causing damage, who is at fault. The tree of the knowledge of good and bad was not just a fruit tree, that is so unimportant, it was a test of loyalty, Eve did tell Adam what she had been told by the serpant, the Devil, he, Adam, should have corrected her, told her to leave it alone, IT BELONGS TO JEHOVAH GOD.

Eve. She should have known something was up when the Snake talked. Come on, a talking snake?

hmm well I would say both cause he was the leader, and she was just being tempted, and they supposed to both protect eachother. lol

God was at fault. You don't tell your children not to do something, then put it right in front of their faces and expect them to leave it alone. Especially when they haven't even learned the difference between right and wrong.
Then when your children do what you told them not to you punish them forever and ever???? You send your two year old out into the street to fend for itself???? You inflict pain and suffering and continuous guilt for every generation to follow??? WTF? C'mon people why do you think God would do such a thing?

Well, Well well, the fault is on both Adan and Eve

1, Eve is at fault for not waiting for Adam before eating the fruit and for not obeying the instructions of the creator instead, chose to listen to the opposition.

2, The major blame is on Adam for listening to Eve despite the instruction that God gave them. As the head, he is purpose to ask questions and if possible discipline Eve for disobeying the instruction of the creator.

Intriguing question.  My answer is that I won't point fingers at either one of them because I am no better myself.  Could ANY OF US resist such a temptation? Really? For your whole LIFE? Try this article explaining why it's pointless to get mad at Adam or Eve: http://thinkingaboutthebigquestions.blo … ad-at.html

Which came first - the chicken or the egg? The question is debatable but I believe that Eve ate of the forbidden fruit and encouraged Adam to do the same. He knew the instructions that were given initially to not eat of the fruit, he could have resisted, but he didn't. THEY ARE BOTH AT FAULT.

    Haha, I love this question.
God held Adam more responsible, but he also gave Eve the curse too.

It was both of them working together: Adam could have said something (Scripture indicates he was right there next to her!) but didn't, Eve could have turned away...I say both! smile

How come no one blamed the apple. Hard to pass up a good apple. Why are we blaming anyone. If it hadn't been adam and eve it would have been dick and jane. Who do we know that does everything God has instructed. I'm at fault every day. I just live a little further down the line from adam and eve. Blaming them defers my own complicity and infers that I would have been more faithful. As much as I like apples I would have asked eve to bake me an apple pie. Thank God for grace!

While an unpopular view, God gave man the headship and responsibility for the family...think division of labor as opposed to man being somehow better than woman.  Adam was ultimately responsible for not listening to God and urging Eve to do the same.

The three of them including the snake smile
but the curse had been broken if you accept the Lord's salvation smile

Both.  Eve should've listened to her husband about God's command.  At the same time Adam, who was the head of his family should have counseled her about disobeying God or just not take part in it at all.
