They are sleeping in bed with us again

   Since we moved to Cali Sasha and Shadow wouldn't sleep in bed with us. And then once we brought Tiger home, he was the only one who slept in bed.
   
   Well happily the past two nights they have all three been sleeping in bed with us again. YAY! Only problem is...they are all sleeping on my side of the bed and I already have to deal with my husband taking up most of the bed.
   
   But it does make me happy to have all three of my babies in bed with us again.
   
   
   Does anybody else's pet sleep in bed with them?

      I used to have a Husky/Timberwolf mix that liked to get in bed then push my girlfriend out. He didn't like her riding in the front of my truck either. Needless to say she was not amused.

            Oh he wasn't a puppy he's a 190 pound beast that stands almost 4 foot at the shoulder. When I got deployed overseas a few years back I gave him to a woman in south Georgia that raises wolf pups for the zoo. He's still there being used as a stud.He had a good temperament but every few months he'd rebel and I'd have to wrestle him to the ground and hold him there until he tucked his tail and submitted. They don't tell you that when you get them, but the vet warned me.

      All of mine used to, until they became arthritic.  All my cats do, though, and I become smothered as the Winter progresses!

      Yes, all three of my cats sleep in the bed, but they take turns and there are never more than 2 of them in the bed with us at a time.  They like laying up against our chest to feel/hear our heartbeats and feel us breathing.  I think it gives them comfort and a sense of love.  We would miss them if they didn't sleep with us.

            hmmm, they are cheaper and easier to clean up after...
            maybe you can be like me, have hubby for "bed time" and a kitty to snuggle? men dont really snuggle...

                           oh, thats not alwyas bad, but I do get tired sometimes....

   I miss my kitty so much, but hubby says its not normal for animals to be in bed.
   I see his point, its not a human...but...
   the feeling of her littele soft heavy body, snuggled up on my belly, softly purring....
   Im happy you got them comfy agian. Moving is hard on meowies.

      your hubby is wrong! it is too normal to have kitties and puppies in bed with you. you should let your little baby back into bed with you guys.
      And yea it is hard for them...we'll hopefully be moving into a house sometime in the near future so they'll have and we'll have more room.

         I should rephrase, the cat I have now sleeps with my oldest daughter, because the cat we had before did sleep with me. She went missing about 3 years ago and we got a new one. When we got her, hubby said..no letting it on the bed..the thing is I grew up wit pets, he didnt..
         for anohter thing, our bed is too small for him...let alone me in there too!!
         so I said ok. The cat loves our oldest most anyway. They are both happy, I just miss having a cat of my own.

   My boxer will only sleep on the bed if there is only one of us in there, if we're both in bed he sleeps on the floor next to my side.  The thing my wife got last christmas sleeps on the bed with us usually on her side.

   It's a dog, some sort of terrier mix with dacshound (?)  I don't really know what its ethnicity is but its tiny and very funny.  My wife bought it at the pet store last christmas and the thing makes me laugh.

      oh that sounds funny. I have a boston terrier/french bulldog mix. I never saw me growing up to have "little" dogs,(I wanted a lab or german shepard or wolf..) but she is really quite funny!!

         I like the little guy quite a bit and he almost died of Parvo so he's tough like me.  My boxer is a medium sized dog and he's smart as a whip, I've written a couple of hubs about them.

      LOL!! I wish, a wolf is a predator and they don't like being told what to do either. I'll never have another one again, maybe a husky or shepherd, but never a wolf. They belong in the wild. It's amazing how unlike dogs they really are, it's just hard to explain.

            They are cute and curious about everything but grow really fast!! They're also extremely intelligent. I had to put locks on all the cabinets and fridge. I even had to put a lock bar on the doors and outside gates. Eventually he learned that with his size he could jump the fence if he got a running start.

            My wolf-husky is awesome-he's very hierarchically sensitive and joined our family as the youngest of the 'pack.'  He's very submissive to the rest of the canines around here.

      They're thinkers that's for sure and there's an intelligence in their eyes that can just be spooky. I really think sometimes he knew what I was saying. The best was the first time he howled though it sent cold chills up my spine. The neighbors said whenever he'd howl their dogs would hide and start shaking. He was something else for sure.

         aaaa the poor babies. lol and yes it is scary when you look into an animal's eyes and see that look on their face saying that they understand you. I get that look often from my oldest cat Sasha since she and I are linked in a way ppl might not understand...

            You know what they say about cats, they're not domesticated and are the only pets to stay out of choice.
            
            The dog looked around at his house and saw that he had food, a home, a bed, and was adored by his master. He said this master must be a God.

                  Yep I agree with Justine...my cats have had a few times where they could have ran away while in Hawaii...damn neighbor kids running into my house and leaving the screen door open! But they stayed with me. i can see their love for me in their eyes and I hope that they can see the love I have for them in mine.
