I have a german-shepard/huskey mix and I adore her. What do you love about your dog or cat or whatever pet you have?
my dog, delta, i have had for nine yrs now...i helped her be born. her mother was half GSD and half coyote, we never knew what the father was as she came to us pregnant. i raised her to think for herself. she is very bonded to me. and very intelligent. many times we communicate with looks alone. my cats also are very bonded to me. they shower me with love and affection, letting me know just how much they love me and how happy they are. they are very communicative and i have no troubles understanding them.
I've 2 lebra dogs at my home - witty and whishky whishky is the daughter of witty and they both're adorable though whishky is lil naughthy but very loving girl
Playing with them just take my stress miles away from me....
Two Border Collie McNab mix dogs are currently driving me crazy. They want to work when I am not at all interested. These are work dogs and they love to work. I call it playing. Presently they think fetching is work and fixate on any toy that is thrown or squeeks. Extremely intelligent these working dogs must have lots of exercise. We are currently working with them to prepare them for the arrival of our 1st grand baby. They have a habit of herding small children. They also must be intentionally socialized and well trained. While a challenge they are sweet dogs who provide hours of practice in throwing for the baseball pitcher in my family. The soccer players also practice kicking the toys. They jump, leap and are funnier than the funniest movie you have ever seen
I have 2 mut girl dogs. Ones name is october and one is shade and there my girls because no one will ever be as excited as they are when I get home from work. I also have a 75 gal slatwater tank that has 4 tomato clowns, a six line wrasse, a Bi colored angel, and a kola tang ing it (also about 20 hermit crabs and 20 snails). That tank is a true stress reliever for me
I have a Roomba. (Yes, it's a pet. It needs food and cleaning up after, and it follows me around the house.) I love it dearly and it is a huge stress reliever and is always ready to help me out!
I have a dog and 2 cats, and we started feeding a little stray kitty that showed up couple of months ago. She just had babies two weeks ago but has them hidden out in the wood behind our house and I haven't seen them yet. I just got close enough to pet her over the weekend, so I'm hoping she'll bring the babies up to the house so I can get them all into the vet for vaccinations and to get her fixed! My dog is a two-year old English springer spaniel-coonhound mix. She's high energy and completely goofy and I love her to death. But my doggie soul mate was my Lab mix that we lost to cancer in February at age 10. She was the smartest, most empathetic dog I ever knew.
Hubby and I have 2 Great Danes. Mine is Hamlet, and he's the best dog (out of hundreds) that I've ever known. He's smart, loving, fun, beautiful, loyal, and protective.
Our dog Sassie is beautiful and a great companion. She's the best pet I've had and I love her dearly (which is reciprocated ten fold!). I've had cats and fish in the past but dogs are the best.
I have a ginger cat called Dennis. I love him most of the time, especially when he has such a look of love in his eyes, and runs at my face to rub his head against it. However, I do sometimes find my love tested, if he pees in my hat or poos in my slippers.
I have a home full of pets! My long coated german shepherd; my pup an English mastiff; 3 exotic blue finches, a school of fish; a singular beta; 5 rugrats; a couple of cats and I've now lost count of what we have....
I love them all because they love me unconditionally!!!
3 Cocker Spaniels we had 4 but he passed away last year. They are smart, lovable and love to play. We also have 4 Cocktails that we have had for years and one of them talk and whistle. They love us as much as we love them.
I have 2 Philippine Local Dogs who are very smart and adorable.... They just never failed to make me laugh.... and they are so like children that always long for my attention.... my 11 year old Peso is a perineal hernia survivor, he had undergone six surgeries.... He is ok now...and still don't look his age.
I have a german shepherd and she get on my nerves. She is not full grown yet and likes to chew on everything.
I have two cats.
Lucy is a very feisty yellow tabby she was only about five weeks old when I found her and completely wild. It's taken her a while but over the years she has turned into a good pet.
Samantha the Siamese who is my favorite was also very young and very sick from malnourishment when I found her. She is probably the smartest cat that I've ever owned, sometimes a little too smart. And very affectionate with all of our family members.
About eleven years ago we rescued our dog Max from a miserable existence and he is our best friend.
Max has loved us unconditionally, and stayed by our side all this time no matter what. He has stayed loyal to us even when people weren't. He has been a great companion and a rock in our lives.
Max lends an ear when we need to talk to someone. He is always next to us when he knows we are ill or when we are feeling down. He is watching his “flock” making sure nothing or nobody will hurt us. We love him so much!
Teddy was identified as a terrier mix - and we've been told by numerous people he looks like he has maltese, shih tzu, jack russel, and the list goes on and on. He definitely has terrier and I see the jack russel in his face.
As to why do I love him - what's not to love? It's unconditional love and loyalty.
My Cat Ozzy is almost 21 years old He's been in my life since I was 10 Years old!! He's been there for me through the Good times & The bad times!! He is blind & deaf now I worried alot that one day he will passes on!! My another cats are Cody Elvis (17) he's a Orange Tabby with gold-yellow eyes then my youngest cat is Bella (12) a beautiful blue eyed Norwegian Forest cat!! I Love My Cat's like they our my children!!

Cats or dogs? Which are the best companions? If you were stranded on a deserted island, which 4-legged friend would you want? Would a cunning, carnivorous, food capturing cat be your preferred companion? Or, would a faithful committed unconditionally-loving dog be your preferred...

Which do you prefer as a pet? A dog or a cat? And are you a man or a woman?I am not sure if it be myth or truth that men prefer dogs and women prefer cats. Personally, I fall into the stereotypical dog-loving man. But maybe I am just that. A stereotype. Maybe,...
