If you do I want to know about it? Ill hook you up with a backlink and a short summary on one of my smaller sites.
Go ahead just give me the link here!
This is for a fun site for me, a blogger blog I made before realizing that art is not a profitable niche! So I get to it when I get to it.
But Ill gladly promote your link (or your art, if your artist yourself!) If you like you can even write up a 100 word summary yourself, which will make me be able to make it live, way quicker!
What I will link:
Anything about Your own art
anything about the business of art (selling at shows)
Tricks of the trade (how to's)
Bios/articles about current artist
What i wont link to:
Old master bios
blatant product reviews
thanks for your art love. I don't have any of my art posted here. However, I am in Gems and Jewelry and some hubs about artistic Jewelry and photo gallery of those are published.
If you want to link them, you can.
Thanks for your great idea. I'm new here, so I'd welcome all the help that I can get. I do pencil portraits and clay figurines. for fun actually, but I'd appreciate to having some more fans. Thanks again. My Links:
http://hubpages.com/hub/clay-figurines- … -figurines
made a small change...i will link to blatant product reviews - if they are a product that a professional artist would have interest in
-just a quick breakdown on the how-to idea - since the target audience is, artists who are trying to make a living off their art, and learning offline and online tricks to promote -How-to's should be at an advanced level, Im going to try to include all of the links provided over time - if it doesnt get linked to it is because I feel it is an article that is speaking to a less advanced crowd.
Thank you very much for taking the time to share your links with me
Hey Sunforged, not sure if this is something you would be interested in but its a hub that discusses Lowbrow art and has a mini bio of one of the top Lobrow artists in pop culture, Todd Schorr

there are eleven of them
They're also in google 1st page for dark painters-
Hope it helps
Thank you, both
I actually know all about you LakeErieArtist! I regularly send you traffic, already
But, I didnt realize you had so many relative articles, thank you!
Expect to see a new site sending you lots of traffic next month!
I have a few hubpage drawing tutorials like in my how to draw demons, witches, trolls and whatever else, there's a few listed on my hubpage profile.
Thanks if you can list one!
Im already linked to your article on tattoo art business! Rather recent addition though not quite sure if traffic is going your way yet.
I read your how-to hubs and enjoy them, I havent linked to them because, on how-tos, I focus more on how-to's in materials - so how to prime a canvas, how to make a .gif using photoshop etc.
But Im sure I can find a couple more from your treasure trove that fits the sites fields
What I will do though for sure, is put a blogroll link that leads to all your hubs with the "art" tag! Your welcome to suggest an anchor text if you like.
In other news, after almost a year of not caring so much about the site because Google hated me for some unknown reason (Ive been position #1 in yahoo for months and months!)
So I just checked it after starting thsi thread and Im finally first page in GOOGLE! for not only the original site but a total of 4 pages that lead to the site.
So i have an impetus to promote it more and maybe even beautify it a bit - organize it a bit better etc.
I really am quite ecstatic about this
woo-hoo, I re
That's great when that happens...good old Google.
If possible the anchor text "draw fantasy" might work well for the blogroll...so cheers, and thanks for linking to that tattoo art hubpage as I'll have another one that will show how to draw tattoos and WHERE to sell them online, sort of like an indepth tutorial in the works coming soon!
I checked analytics, I posted that link 10 days ago - and 25 visitors exited to your hub, nothing amazing but as far as i know I hit first page today for the keywords ive been targetting - so that should pick up over time
Your blogroll link is live and changed to "Draw fantasy"
Found your blog - how to make money from your art...so cheers for the linkage! will try and find some relevant links on your blog to link with some of my stuff elsewhere!
http://hubpages.com/hub/Watercolors-A-S … e-Tutorial
It's my watercolor technique article. I have one in the works for a colored pencil piece too.
It even links quality products for water color paper, paints and brushes..
This is a pleasant idea-what is your site? I may have missed the link. x.x
while some would question photography as art, i'll differ. if these qualify, then a hearty thanks!

Thanks for the links!
I have a detailed one on Pixeling Art:
Hopefully you can do something with it
excellent, thank you!
im no typo angel, but heads up on the very first line of teh first hub
"I do pencil drawings using the minimun of tools"
Sunforged, the hub I had would be good to blog because it shows how you can make money with paint, free and a kid can even use it. Since I saw your site/blog!
Absolutely, your in, you deserve the link love for helping out all of hubpages w/ your copy research.
I checked out the hub, watched the video - bobbed my head to the song and gave the hub love in every possible way, poll, thumbs up + some
I've several art Hubs, and will add more in time. Here's the current list:
Most of my other Hubs are heavy with my photography, too, if that appeals.
I have lots of art instruction hubs. Here's a link to my most popular one:
http://hubpages.com/hub/Prismacolor-Rea … l-Painting
There are many, many others ranging from beginner to intermediate in a variety of mediums. I've also reviewed a couple of art instruction books and sometimes give tips within the review, otherwise I wouldn't mention those. My two favorite topics for Hubs are how to draw/paint and how to write novels, so this thread was made for me. lol
...I should also add, that if you are n artist yourself I would love to interview you for the artist interview series - includes lots of free promotion!
im an artist, ill PM you! great idea..i read over a couple articles already
I'm very new to Hubpages and starting to find my way around. It's a great idea of yours and I would be really grateful for you to add a link. I only have 2 art hubs at the moment but I will add more as I'm an artist. Thankyou. If I can add links for you anytime please say,
Thank you for your generous offer. Here are what I have so far so please choose what you like .

I don't currently have an art hub, but I've been wanting to do one about my mom's art - she is a terrific painter. She has a website - can I give you her web address to put in your blog?
Hey, I just saw this after making a post about sandcarving glass here:
http://hubpages.com/hub/Sandcarving-Gla … -and-Stone
Its a unique glass art form. So let me know if you want any free content about it. It can be a very lucrative thing to.
Just Pm me. Thanks
Thanks for all the replies, many of the posters have been Pm'ed, a couple of links have been placed in blogroll, a new blogroll for etsy shops has been created.
There are many who posted that i have not reacted to yet, I am a bit behind scrambling with trends for the holiday season, i will be jumping back into this project in january (its a fun project, not a profit project) and will include very relevant link I can!
Feel free to check out "join the artist interview series" to get some ideas on the suggested format..of course creativity is encouraged
@glass etching, I will include anything relevant to the process of art, arts marketing and personal experience in the arts, if any content is relevant I will publish and gladly link back to any hubs, art, stores etc. that you wish
Thanks for the big response everyone!
I just added some Precious Metal Clay tutorials and will be adding others.
I will def give it a read and a push!
lakeerie, you have had a few hubs showcased there, do any clicks every lead your way? traffic is low there, probably about 100-150 visitors a week, but i have seen quite a few exit to your article on running a art gallery
aaaa sunforged you are a sweet man for doing this for the artists on here. too bad my art is in writing not painting or sketching
The main purpose of the site is to help people who ask
"how do i make money from my art?"
I dont discern what "art" is
its not a profit site, I try , but its not a niche with much potential,
so anyone who speaks about how they want to profit from the "art" they practice is open to a push from me.
Its also the main publishing source for my "Artist Interview series" ( <----- search me) which showcases the efforts and progress of artist who answer the basic interview
I have a couple of great ones all set to publish ..was just waiting on good shots of their art
I have two hubs in a series I have started titled "The Next Level" where some favorite music of mine comes together with poetry and art that is all kind'a inspired by the music. I do it for fun...and also to bring life to the older unique style of music I loved along ago...in an "eye/ear/mind sensory-type" of explosion. Here are the links to what I've done thus far:
There will be more... !
Thanks for the help Sunforged, here are the links on my art.
I'll check back to see if you've made any progress. These are all the art related Hubs I've written.

Was able to link out to two articles today and do corresponding promotion across FB, twitter and other sites.
great stuff, it was a welcome break for me
Hi, I am trying to generate some backlinks, saw yours and thought it might help me sell a box or two.
(as far as hubs, my squidoo looks best, so far. I am interested in how this thing works:)
I was an art history major-- but haven't written a lot about art. Here's one:
Also have some of my own art on this one-- but that's probably not what you are looking for:

My husband is an amazing artist who created a awesome sculpture. He has a dream of building a monument for the american soldiers. Check it out and thank you.
yes, most of my hubs are dealing with art in one form or another..
I do not want to self promote by posting my own links, so simply just type my user name in the search box and it will lead you to one and you can find the others from there
not likely to happen..your hub link was requested, i come back to this thread when i can and i grab a link, read , summarize and backlink.
really dont have time to dig through profiles..plus i need you to make the editorial decision of what fits the criteria listed
Well, I am a degreed artist of many medias..
I just do not like to self promote by posting my own links, those who are interested can find them easily..
just because one person does not feel like taking time, another person might..
I hope lots of people take the time to look, this thread has brought alot of artists out to show off their writing and their work.
I understand your hesitation, Your welcome to email me the links through my profile page if you have read the thread and think they fit the stated criteria
Ive been managing to do about 3 or 4 per week
And thank you so much for that sunforged. I would like to recommend a new hubber's hubs, kristina malcolm. She doesn't know about this thread yet.
Some of my abstract photos.

Glad to hear of your orientation in integrating art-related hubs. This is mine http://hubpages.com/hub/Artist-Inspirations
I am focussing on posting only art-related hubs and that's why my hub-posts here may sometimes be less frequent, because it is made very carefully to cater not only artists but also to non-artists. I am relatively new to hubpages, hence I have only one post here. I am just taking time in the midst of my work-schedule to know hubpages well before I frequently post eventually.
Do also check out my profile where I have details of my various involvement as an artist professional and volunteer. http://hubpages.com/profile/rembrandz
I simply post pics of my paintings on my hubs - I would like to have like an art gallery Hub but would that be allowed - simply a description of each painting and a pic of the painting - so say 10 paintings and descriptions to make up an entire hub - would it work - would it get a low score due to lack of content?

After creating 15 hubs, I think it's the right time to start interlinking related hubs to each other. I was wondering, how many fellow hubbers interlink their hubs? Have you experienced a boost in traffic and/or earnings? What's the best method of doing it?
by Eugene Brennan 3 years ago
I've had links to my own related hubs snipped on several occasions (mostly blatant lists at the end of a hub), but some links have been left in place after several snips. So is it acceptable to include a link to a hub which may be very relevant to the specific content in a section of a hub, if it...
