In my case it took me about 10 months of trial and error with adsense. I got the first $100 from adsense but then got lazy so still building for my second, it's taking longer though.
I published my first hub in January 2010. I didn't get serious till April. I just missed out on my $150 payout so should get it at the end of the month.
I got one after six months but I think it was a fluke since almost 40% of the amount I earn during December. The second one arrived after another six months, which I think is more reasonable for me.
It took 12 months, and now I seem to be hitting payout every other month. Working towards hitting it every month, but that may take some time!
Eleven months (I hit it in July this year). Should hit payout again at the end of this month, I hope.
Did you guys follow your same tactics after that first payout or changed anything.
How does it work, I have published 2 hubs, got 1 comment, how do I get follower? New Hubber Help
Three months for first payout. I have always followed the same tactic - publish as many quality hubs as I can...
It took me 9 months to earn it, received it in my 10th month. I received the second payout in my 12th month and have been having monthly payouts every month since then except one where I missed it by under $5.
For me it was just under 2 years. I was a slow learner....

I do not need to know specific amounts paid to you, I know that is against the rules. Just wondering how long it took everyone

I was wondering how much people actually earn on HubPages through HubPages ads program? Does it produces better results than AdSense? How much hubs and tgime does it take to start earning? Yeah, I know, so many questions, but I really need to know the answers. Thanks in advance for answering it.

Finally, I reached google adsense payout today, what a memorable day! It took exactly 9 months, I just hate to start again from zero now. How long did you take to reach payout? Just curious:0)

I have still not seen even .01 from HubPages. I have 18 hubs and have been on the site for over 6 weeks now. Do the articles take awhile to start earning money? I am just curious what other hubbers results have been (typically). Thanks!

It really does take off. I got my first adsense payout at the end of June, and I've just hit the £60 mark for July, so another payout this month. That's not all hubs, because I set up my own blog a month ago, but hubs is most of it.
