   Do you like the new hub hopping?
   
   What I do like about the new hub hopping is they way you can rate grammar separately from creativity.  What I do not like, is we are forced to read a hub we have no interest in.  It seems we can not hop forward without rating a hub.   This will discourage me from hopping if I have to spend time reading things I have no interest in?  What are your thoughts?

   Nope! I do not like that if a hub is about a topic that I am in no way interested in I HAVE to vote in order to go to the next one. AGGRIVATING to say the least. I think it's going to cause people to inadequtely rate hubs in a rush to move onto something that interests them.
   
   So I'm with you on this one...hopefully the admins see this and think of a way to tailor it at least to the topics we as hubber subscribe to.

   No! I used to hop around until I found something that somewhat interested me. Now that we have to rate it to move to the next one, I will not hop nearly as much as I used to.

   Like you, I like that creativity, structure, and grammar are separate. And, it's all subjective anyway. But, what I don't like is being forced to read a hub and rate it before I can move on to the next hub. The old style allowed me to be selective and so I could hop hubs with my morning coffee, sort of like thumbing through a magazine. I'll read the articles that catch my eyes and skip the ones that didn't.
   
   The new style of hub hopping feels more like "work". I have a wide range of interests and I am willing to read and help out the community, but when it comes to a subject that I am either not familiar with or have little interest in, then I'm just not going to want to read it. Imagine if the first hub that pops up is "The Auto Mechanic's Best Tool for Repairing an Accelerator." I'm not going to read that hub or anything about auto mechanics. So now what? I guess I won't be hopping hubs that day.

   I too do not like that I no longer have the freedom to skip a hub if it is not interesting to me. We are being forced to read, or at least rate hubs that are utterly boring.

      I have discovered that if you hit the back button of your browser you will be directed to the next hub, so you can skip the ones you are not interested in.

      Mine back key does what it is suppose to, to previous page...not next hub.  For me anyway.  Maybe there is a bug in the program....hmm...

   I haven't seen the new hub-hopping yet but I would hate it if we have to rate them all before we can skip to the next one - I used to skip through them at quite a rapid speed of knots until I found a topic I was interested in. The different categories sounds interesting though... I shall go and check it out now. It's good to know it's changed!

      I just checked it out and I do not like it at all - the ratings system seems so complicated too! I think people are bound to grade on different scales and it will not work as well as like/not like.

   I agree, I like to hop clear of hubs I have no interest in. How can we give a fair score to something we don't want to read. I will most likely stop hub hopping and read them from another entrance way. As far as I know we can still access them without hopping.

    The new hub hopping appears strange to me. I like the old one better. But I think this one gets more hubs rated. Tough to be reading a topic you have no interest in though. ^_^

    No I do not like it. I use Firefox and the entire HubHopping block cannot be seen, You cannot see the submit button. I guess I will not be able to use this tool any longer.

       We now have an option to use "classic" hub hopper which is the old hub hopping. Much better!

    I love hub hopping.  It really lets you get to know some of the great writers that are on this site, and allows you to introduce your work to others.

    I use Google Chrome, and while I can't go forward if I don't comment, I can go backwards all I want by simply clicking the back arrow!
    
    What's the difference?
